Sadly this game is worse than its predecessors.
I literally just wanted to play through the levels in War mode locally with my wife, without AI players. But it doesn't seem this is possible?
Firstly, most aspects of the game must be unlocked through the campaign - with some difficult levels that force you to do solely defence, etc.
And then it doesn't seem possible to play War mode with just 2 players without AI members also on the team? It's like it is 4-players only.
Finally, it's almost entirely aimed around building your own maps but there isn't much of an introduction / guide to this, nor is there much curation to find great published levels.
