Warning: Microtransaction Infested Game

This game is infested with a mobile app like cash shop for unlocking in-game currency and features. Whether these are purely cosmetic or they alter your gaming experience significantly, this gamer gouging practice is unethical and insulting to gamers, especially when applied to such a low quality shovelware game. Gamers should be cautious and consider avoiding this game for that reason alone.
"Imagination - Online Board game" is more asset flip pollution from 8floor/Creobit, but instead of their copy + pasted asset flips of jigsaw puzzles with images stolen off the internet, this is an "old maid" style card game with images stolen off the internet. Yeah, 8floor does a lot of work stealing pictures from the internet and trying to scam gamers out of money on Steam, they've polluted Steam with over 200 asset flips and counting.
This is no exception, of course, an example of the stolen images is Viking Girl Warrior stolen and used without any apparent permission or credit from Dreamstime... and sure, the stock photo may allow it to be used without credit, but claiming the work of others as your own is highly unethical, it's plagiarism, and that's what is happening here, for profit. That's not okay.
To double down on their cash grab/scamming behaviour, the game has a toxic mobile app microtransaction shop embedded in it... absolutely disgusting.
There's a "multiplayer" component but it's dead, so you just get botmatched, not that playing this with real people would make the crap premise any better.
From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.
There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision.
The game features somewhat lazy, simplistic 2D graphics, of the type you normally expect to see in low effort Flash/browser games and mobile apps. Considering this is being evaluated as a PC game, having the graphics phoned in like this isn't going to result in a high quality, visually impressive game that PC gamers are used to seeing.
The controls can't be customised because the game has such a dumbed down, simplified interface that it's just iPhone screen tapping stuff. The fact that the interface is this dumbed down might be seen as a problem in itself, however... this is a fairly shallow experience if you're the kind of gamer that likes to play games with deep, rich control schemes and interaction. You'll get none of that here.
This looks and feels like a mobile app, but I wasn't able to find it on the app stores. Maybe it was removed, maybe it was rejected by Apple and Google (they do have more rigorous quality standards than Valve does for Steam, after all).
Regardless, for all intents and purposes "Imagination - Online Board game" might as well be a mobile app, it has the same limitations and dumbed down qualities. It's impossible to recommend such a game to PC gamers. We don't spend all this money building gaming rigs so we can pretend they're iPhones and play games that might as well be mobile apps.
These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.
The game contains stock/store assets and other packages, but the "developer" here hasn't credited the people who actually did the work for the game. While this isn't necessarily against the license for the use of those assets, claiming the work of others as your own is unethical.
"Imagination - Online Board game" has the total ripoff price of around $5 USD (plus hundreds of dollars of MTX in their cash shop), it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the unethical nature of the developer. Remember that if you buy a game from an unethical developer, you're putting your money at risk. Because this is the kind of game you can just play for free on mobile phones, it's impossible to recommend anyone should pay money for the same experience on Steam.

Everytime I start the game, I get a Connection error message, reinstalling the game didn't help, logging in with an other account on steam works though, so it's only locks me out...

It seems like this game has gone through changes. I paid €0.39 for this, as it was 90% off, whereas others seem to have gotten it for free?
Anyway, I bought it for a friend to test the online component. It seems that gems are no longer needed to play with your friends (unless you need them for larger parties). However, it's still possible to purchase gems, even though their current function is unclear.
This game is effectively Dixit online, where the pictures aren't as pretty. If you play with bots, you can choose a theme for your cards from a drop-down menu. If you play with friends (or a friend and a bot, as I did) you can type your own theme. Which made things pretty funny (the bot didn't get our humour though, would probably be better to play it with friends)
So basically, if you want a game like Dixit online, buy this on sale, and buy it for your friends (seems like each person playing needs a copy. At least that's how it seemed to be when we tested it.
Bit confused to be honest, but the playing with friends mode has good potential

One of my absolute favourite games. The concept is simple but it's so much fun. You can switch it up and try to only write rhyming prompts, song lyrics, childhood memories, inside jokes... anything.
If you play it with friends or a partner, it also lets you get to know them better because you learn what they associate with certain pictures - or if you already know them well, it helps you win (we sometimes add 2 or 3 bots and team up "humans against robots" by trying to write associations only a human could guess).
100% recommend this game and I would buy DLCs for it too if there were any, like packs of themed or seasonal picture cards. Maybe achievements like a certain number of wins giving you extra cards, or the ability to add cards to it, would be cool too.

This game is great for "right brained" or creative thinking types of folks, and the art is soothing.
It doesn't take long for a pick-up table to fill up, though almost all of the other players have been bots so far.
I was kind of lost the first time through, so I hope a tutorial is in the works, but I got the hang of it by the second game.
It is on sale for only 49 cents this weekend, so take a chance and support a creative game where no one has to die! :)

If you've ever played Dixit then you'll pick this up quickly - it's a fun guessing game, with a wide variety of images on the "cards" and a good amount of options for the clues. The rounds don't last too long, and it's got a set time limit so players can't drag a round (definitely a plus!)
Overall a fun diversion that would be easy to play with kids and friends.
