So far has played and felt pretty solid. Really hard not to compare to Dead Cells. However it has its own unique artwork and style. Looking forward to playing more.

While the game seems promising from the first get go, there are insane bugs, that make it unplayable, at least for me with win 10 and an xbox controller. Character just randomly teleports outside of bounds, camera doesnt follow character movement and shifts from left to right, not to mention the abnormal speed of the character in the tutorial phase, before world 1. Cant tell much about the game later on, but in its current state its just unplayable for me and a loss of money.
3/10 STAY AWAY
This has barely understandable English (which was clearly auto-translated via google). Some UI-elements are even still in Chinese.
The game itself plays reasonably well, but is utterly unbalanced and shallow. The weapons they boast with are a joke. Basically 2-3 are barely functioning and the rest is utter trash, but even with god-rolls the 2nd blood lady boss has a comical amount of HP and deals a ridiculous amount of damage. You can't even dodge around much, because guess what, dodging requires a "stack of stamina", which you have 3 of and recover very slowly. So dodge her billion attacks 3 times and you are stuck getting hit.
Meta-progression is laughable as well and requires you play an insane amount for a bit of extra max health (how much? Now one knows, because why bother showing that, right?). Apart from that there is increased crit chance and the rest is just when you die you keep gold/souls etc.

Still playing, zero problems, good looking game, nice combat.
And so many weapons, bow, magic, upgrades, recasts and different foes: I like it !
(True, as with all of my games, being 68 y.o., I make my Cheat Engine table, so my experience will be different.
But again, I find it *very* well done in all aspects.)

English texts are too small to be read, the game progress is nice but very difficult, this can be very annoying sometimes, more characters should be added to the current game or the sequel you will release in the future, but the game is very nice 恭喜! dev team.

Seed Hunter is challenging. It has enough systems to keep you interested outside of combat and it's an an easy recommendation for fans of the 2d side-scroller action rogulite genre.
Pros
-Good side scrolling combat
-Variety of weapons and upgrades
-Aesthetic
Cons
-No translation for a few parts of the game
-A bit buggy but nothing gamebreaking (for example you need to reconfigure the sound settings each time you launch the game)
-Although the game is easy to get into, it leaves some mechanics unexplained. Since there's not a lot of info about the game online, you have to put in the time to figure some stuff out.

I would wait to buy this when it's fully translated to English. Right now I can't read what some of the NPC's are saying. When I got to the Weapon Maker, I had no idea what it was saying.

Actually unplayable. Like literally. It froze and crashed on first being ran, then twice in the tutorial, then freezes every time an area is chosen and randomly softlocks if you press tab to look at your inventory.
Gonna keep it unrefunded in case it gets better but I wouldn't recommend it as is.
The passive metaprogression tree was also super boring status padding the one time I reached it without crashing

I play a lot of 'Early Access' roguelites, and there are very few that start with so many good features. The game has several layers of depth, from a decent variety of unique weapon mechanics to perks, upgrades, and weird items. It's a roguelite but you can make some progress between deaths in a form of passive bonuses. Also, the game just looks pretty good and the movement is relatively responsive for a cheap title. I guess I should mention that the game is translated well enough, you shouldn't have any issues if you speak English. Surprisingly it even has controller bindings which also supports triggers and directional analog actions, I am using F-310 controller to play it (can't speak for others). I am sure you will encounter some kind of technical issues as you would in any Early Access, but I think there is potential for greatness here.
Let me start with the weapons because there are a couple of interesting design features. Each weapon seems to have some kind of gimmick, and it's not always a generic combo system. A sword might have a 4 hit chain combo, a bow has a charge mechanic and a special attack, while some rare weapons have more unique interactions, such as building a meter for a super move. At a certain point, you will unlock a new building that seems to add new weapons to the loot table if you have the resources to unlock them. I will say that I like the combat system, for the most part. The enemies do a good job of telegraphing their attacks, making it reasonable to dodge or block them without feeling like you have to learn a pattern of each enemy. The only thing that bothers me are the ranged weapons, I am not exactly sure if there is an incentive not to kill enemies from a distance (most of them can't keep up). The last thing I want to mention is the map system which allows you to create a path of random levels toward the boss, which occasionally includes unique events like a shop or a reward shrine.
Pros:
+ decent RPG depth, many upgrades
+ many weapons that have different playstyles
+ control bindings (used f310)
+ fluid animation, intuitive UI
Cons:
- the soundtrack should be replaced, it's basically a short loop
- needs more visual variety when it comes to early levels
- enemies can't keep up with some tactics, like abusing bow
Overall Thoughts:
I buy $5-10 EA roguelites all the time, this one is up there among the better games. I feel like the developer is trying to include all of the RPG features that worked in the genre before, and also do it in a creative way. Sure there a couple of things for them to work on, but not a bad start, I like what I am seeing so far.
