The Light Remake Reviews
There is only you, the abandoned remains of a former life and the flourishing nature that feels great in the absence of man. This world is both gloomy and empty, but so incredibly beautiful.

This game is a tale of two halves. While the atmosphere and world-building are exceptional, a few major issues hold it back from being a truly great experience.
The puzzles were a significant letdown, often devolving into a tedious "pixel hunt" due to the sprawling map and hard-to-see, essential items. Beyond the puzzle design, a persistent bug with traversal was also a source of frustration. Playing on the Steam Deck, where the game is unverified, the same issue occurred multiple times when I tried to climb steps, including the one mandatory bus sequence that was so difficult it nearly made me quit.
On the positive side, everything else about the game was a strong point. The atmosphere and overall feeling reminded me of excellent titles like SOMA, Observer, and Control. Unfortunately, the weak puzzle design and these technical issues ultimately dragged down what could have been a standout game for me.
