I bought the game on the recommendation of a friend who never advises crap, and was absolutely satisfied. Singleplayer is extremely meditative and allows you to disconnect from everything that happens around for an hour or two. Co-op turns the game into an insane race and fun that real people contribute to it. When playing against the AI, you roughly understand the further course of events, when playing with people, anything can happen, and this makes the game even more fun. I recommend it for co-op with friends.

It helps to relieve the brain. A simple casual strategy for those who do not want to learn for 10 hours just to play a game. I put off some games for months after the purchase, just because I am lazy. If you are so lazy too, this game is for you. And me ;)

The developers of this game are basically lying. There is no tactic or strategy at all and instead of taking all the annoying grinding out of it, that is the only thing left in the game, while everything else got removed. This game COULD be a good game with a lot work, because the idea behind it is good, but nobody in their right mind should listen to the devs or positive reviews, because right now paying 10€ for this game, is basically the same as getting scammed.
Pros:
- Actually not complicated, easy to pick up
- Map painting is always satisfying
- Huge variety of countries and more or less historical accuracy concerning borders and population
Cons:
- Bugged, very bugged
- No strategy or tactics, just grinding
- Lying devs who probably paid for some of the positive reviews
- Bugged
- Wrong religions for almost all countries when starting certain scenarios (not like Religion really matters in this game, seems cosmetic)
- One of the worst UI's I have seen in a long time
- Adding to the UI problem, there is no real transparency on why you are winning/losing, you just kinda do
- The game itself looks like it was just made out of different templates pulled from the Internet, nothing seems originally created by the devs
- Did I mention this game is BUGGED?
tl;dr: Only get this game if it's free, less than 2€ or gets actual good updates, since it has potential, but is just crap right now.

For the time being, I would not recommend this game. It has potential to be a fun arcade-ish grand strategy game. It's far more simple than any paradox game, but that doesn't necessarily make it bad. The primary reason why I don't recommend this game is because it's incredibly buggy and will crash every 15 or so minutes. There's also no autosave feature. There's an autosave slot, but no possibility of enabling autosave.
There are also other issues, here's some big ones:
The ai is pathetic. It doesn't seem to recruit any troops, and will therefore always remain pathetically weak for their size. The only troops they seem to have is whatever they get from the free troops research. There's only some slight difficulty in this game if you pick and very small and weak nation to play as.
Another issue is diplomacy, it's too easily abused. You can make peace, alliances, unions, war entirely at will. At war with someone you don't want to fight? no worries, just click on country, click union, and they'll be powerless to prevent it. Diplomacy is that much of a joke. There really should be limits as to how far you can take this, but there isn't.
You can buy ships, but they don't do anything. There's no naval battles, and you don't need ships to land troops by sea. They serve no function other than to artificially raise your militarty power on the rankings, which also has no impact on the game.
Also the very first time I launched this game, it was in Russian. I had to navigate and guess my way through the Russian menu to change it to English. This is the only game i've ever played on any platform where it didn't launch in English. Okay, maybe this is a minor issue, but it's crazy it even happened.
The game appears to just be in development and not yet finished. It's almost like it's in alpha stage of development.

I was fond of the game. In general it is quite simple but dynamic. Pretty good, the game is addictive. It is quite fun that almost every time you occupy half of the world, and the second half of the world is occupied by another super country. And at the end the epic war to rule the world begins))

Can this be called "strategy Game"? Where is the strategy? the only mechanics you can make use of are "peace" and "war". Is that diplomacy?! Well, let's give the bellic factor a go... Oh wait, where are the units? I can't see them... why can't I leader them to conquer the specific province I want?
Don't worry! "we have supressed the most boring elements of strategy games! (including strategy and war management).
To sum up: THIS GAME IS A BAD JOKE!

I really did want to like this, but it really lacks any purpose. It feels more like a very cheap phone game than anything worth 12 dollars. There is no strategy, and i feel baffeled by the many reviews mentioning that. All you do is set how many troops are going to invade, then hit done, then you might win and take a small number of provinces. Very dull.

Own the game, like it, continue to play it--as much as I can
The BIGGEST drawback is
Game has technical issues - as soon as your country gets too big the game crashes because it can't calculate the next turn anymore.
While other countries can have lots of land --if you get too much game crashes---even with saving every other turn--it will crash and you will not be able to pass that point---
I wish they would fix that!!

For some reason, I haven't finished this game while it was still supported by the developer, while the achievements were still working and all that. The most obvious point, I've got bored the same hour I've started this game. And now, at this moment (the year 2020, late August) the game is totally unworthy of any time or money invested.
Oh, sure, it is still working in some basic sense of this word. You can pick a country, either in the West (Europe, North Africa, Near East Asia) or East (the most part of Asia), and you can lead it to the world conquest. Theoretically, you can do something else, like trade, diplomatic negotiations, spy work, and idling - but that's a way to defeat. On the contrary, if you pick any country which has at least some resources, and don't have active truces with all the neighbors (like some of the Russian states), and start a war with the neighbor, in the end, after the game several times will count you as a winner, you may finish your unification conquest and your throne room decorations.
The only trouble that I've met several times I've played this game was not about AI (there is no such thing, only a pretty linear script of attacks and retreats), but from UI. Like, look at this map, there is some enemy in North Africa, but I almost can't see it on the map, it is hidden behind some not so helpful User Interface buttons! Also, there are no clear options of win or lose, you just click the "Next Turn" button until the game declares something about your progress...
I can continue, but I don't see any reason to write more. It is an abandonware with broken achievements and zero challenge level. There are so many other, even free-to-play games of much better quality. Mark 3/10.

ATTENTION PLEASE - GAME IS UNFINISHED
EDIT: The game HAD the potential of becoming one of the best strategy games. Unfortunately
the development team does not update the game anymore at all. I orginally upvoted the game for the potential I saw but right now it's just unfinished and broken so I actually CANNOT recommend it anymore
+ PROS
* Easy to learn
* Fun to play
* No unnecssary and boring stuff just pure strategy and tactics
* Good core gameplay
* Different maps (could still have more content - I would even pay extra)
- CONS
* Game has technical issues - as soon as your country gets too big the game crashes because it can't calculate the next turn anymore
* No resolution over 1080p supported
* Autosave feature doesn't work
* Translations broken and unfinished (German language version not very good - not even the country names are translated)
* Gameplay mechanics broken - it is possible to form an alliance with EVERY enemy at once. When having an alliance with someone he will help YOU in battle, but when he got attacked you don't have to help back you will not even get notified that your ally dies. In this game you can abuse diplomacy pretty easy. When you get too strong other countries will USUALLY get angry at you but you can just spam them with peace treaties and they will not be able to get hostile after all. There was not much thought put into this feature.
