Walk around in a spooky alien forest for an hour or two, the idea that health is your ammo as well is a good idea, but the walking around in a nearly empty forest isn't, if there where more things to do then the main story then this wouldn't feel so bad, but if you play this before the previous games I think that you can leave the series on a positive note, but this game deserves a mixed review

I’m going to say that I like it. So far it’s not been that scary, though I haven’t gotten too far, but there’s definitely sense of adventure and mystery present.

I recommend this. It is spooky. I love the atmosphere. I love the world created. However, it is very short at this price. £15 for 2.5 hours of play is steep.

I really like this game other than being a little pricey. Great graphics, good story line (needs a story log btw). I also like the fact it is a long game to complete, very much a plus. It can be grindy sometimes. Kudos to the devs!

Needs a few more updates to be a really solid game. Low points that need work: - enemy ai and placement, sometimes it felt too artificial and enemies had very simple attack logic - faster normal walk or add a run - fix the various problems with the meele weapons - needs better quest system

Nothing like the other series so far... I enjoyed the other games in the series but I am not sure about this 1..Lots of spiders.... and Lots of waiting. The elevator in the beginning you might even fall asleep waiting to reach the top. Neurosa Primal Ritual is a decent looking game graphically and storywise, however its boring gameplay and crippling bugs including some game breaking issues make it near impossible to enjoy playing. You can almost guarantee your save will be broken when trying to reload. You are going to have to complete this game all in one session if possible, the save/load feature was probably not even tested and I assure you its without a doubt broken. Other bugs include the Shooter bugs dead bodies still crawling around, The red cube going missing, making progression impossible. Sometimes the spiders jump at you after you kill them for 1 last bite to eat. I really wish the developer didn't abandon this one because the other Neurosa games actually were playable. One time I lost the ability to move after a cutscene. One time I got stuck in an obelisk. Other times my saves when inserted into the machine to LOAD a game, it just didn't light up at all. This game I challenge any new person to the game to try and complete it on your first or second attempt. You have to work around the bugs in the game and hope you don't get a bad one during your run in order to reach the end so I challenge anyone unfamiliar with it to try. I am dissatisfied with the final release of the game. The developer was meant to release an update addressing a fix to many of these issues but there have been no fixes as of yet.

Liked previous Nevrosa games thats great you guys made a long one now. There are not so many open world games in VR its always good to have the new one! Very impressive visual style, hope there will be more interactions with surroundings in the future.

The game is fun but there are game breaking bugs that affect saving and progress. I even tried playing without saves but it crashed. It seems abandoned by devs.

The first two games (Nevrosa Escape and Prelude) were really awesome and I really loved them (I recommend them if you haven't played them). But this game is just not fun. The first two had stunning graphics, interesting and engaging puzzles and story, were creative, and had a movement theme that worked so well. This one is more about walking SLOWLY and shooting spiders. That's about it. Oh, and turning on power a bunch of times. Pros: - Theme song is awesome - Some objects like the gun and cube look amazing - I love the fantasy steampunk theme of this game series Cons: - Very buggy. I clipped into the first obelisk and couldn't get out anymore, had to reload. Got stuck on some walls near the water, had to reload again losing a lot of progress (auto save doesn't auto save when you'd think it would). I saved and exited to the main screen after the ritual in the mountain and now my saved game doesn't load anymore. I put the continue and autosave pieces into the machine and nothing happens. New games still work but I think my save is lost. I wanted to play this game to the end to give it a fair review, but it's so boring I can't even bring myself to try again. - Graphics are glitchy. It often looks wavy/screen tearing, and objects like grass in contrast with the fog look like someone did a really bad job cropping around them in microsoft paint. - The guy moves WAY too slow - Some things look really bad. Like the dead guy on the ground, parts of him are literally missing and you can see he's hollow. His feet and chest look botched. Also the giant flowers have some ugly seams on them where the pattern doesn't even match up. - The in-game music is downright irritating. I get that it's supposed to be creepy and tense, but after a while it just gets on your nerves, especially when it takes SO LONG to get across the map. - The gameplay is just a lot of tedious wandering. Did I mention he walks SLOW? - I'm really not a fan of the giant walking flowers idea. - The map should show you on it and which direction you're looking, and your wrist should have a compass. It's hard to tell which way is what. I appreciate the effort of the developers and I do hope to see this series continue, but I really hope to see a return to the gameplay of the previous installments.

I enjoyed just walking through the world and looking at the environment and creatures. Also, there's a good story and puzzles. Farming creature souls can get a bit grindy, but the game isn't too long, so it's okay. I like that I can freely walk around and shoot stuff. I hope we'll get more open world Nevrosa games like this. If anyone's interested, I uploaded a playthrough video to YT. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jPKCZnGooTI
