Really cool concept with poor execution. Even besides some questionable design and AI, the mechanics aren't really explained well outside of the basics. I lost a boss fight because of a timeout, even though I was never told that timeouts exist or when they happen. There are repetitive fights with the same enemies who have the same gear, and a single repetitive fight theme. The UI is also awkwardly slow.
Contrary to what the developer says in their "Why Early Access?" comment, I think the game's core features still need a lot of work. It's possible to make this into a really cool game, but it would require a lot more work from the developers who seem to have abandoned it after 2019, with no new updates since.
