its a good building game and working game

I bought this game years ago and refunded it as I didn't like how you start out with a huge chunk of cash even in free mode. Gave it another try and the starting cash is just a loan, plus on harder difficulty you really need to spend that money to be able to make profit. It's more difficult than I thought it would be and hard or very hard difficulty really demand you to optimize your transportation or you will go bankrupt. I also really like how you can stop time progression separate from game speed. Initially I was about to refund again when I noticed that after I started in 1850, it was suddenly already 1853 and my horse carriages that I bought haven't even completed one full route on their assigned line yet. Then I found out you can lower the time progression and even halt it all together. So you could stay in the year 1850 forever in terms of technology. This is something that most similar games are missing. If I enjoy a particular era it's nice to be able to stay in it as long as I want.

This game is great, it's one of the best if not the best transportation/management games i've ever played. It's content will keep you playing for hours on end. Highly recommend checking this game out!

One of the best Management/Transport games ever. Easy play if you want it, but a challenge if you want it too. Highly recommended.

If you are a train and/or a transport fanatic then this game is for you! If you liked Train Fever and Transport Fever 1 then you'll like what this game has in store, it's still one of my favorite games five years after it's released and it's somehow still FUN for me!

After nearly 400 hours playtime I can recommend that game to everyone who likes transport games like OpenTTD, Tycoon/Strategy games like Cities Skylines (The city building is not too detailed though) or just likes trains :) It was a pleasure for me to achieve all addons, play every scenario and especially building my very own maps in the free game which can have up to a huge size. Last but not least Transport Fever 2 has a great Modding Community with excelent mods. Can't really say anything bad about this game.

This is a very good game that easily gets you engaged for hours. A very good simulation of logistics and it helped me learn a lot about real world logistical concepts like multi modal transport, shared lines, multi legged transport,etc. What are you waiting for.. download the game and build your own transport empire

Super game. Hours and hours of fun trying to work out how to make routes profitable while growing towns and cities.
