This is genuinely one of the best rhythm games I've ever played. The gameplay is very unique. You control a wheel with two colors, and you need to Match notes with the wheel according to their colors. I think that itself is interesting already, but there's more. There's Tap, Hold, Flick, Beat, Spin, and Scratch notes. These notes are clearly indicated as well. This might sound complicated, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes doable and creates some really satisfying and fun gameplay, it makes you feel in tune with the rhythm, especially on higher difficulties. The difficulty curve is quite smooth too. When I was mainly playing Hard-Expert tracks, XD difficulty felt insurmountable, but as I slowly got better, I eventually S ranked all of the Expert tracks. After that I tried out some XD tracks, suddenly I was able to pass them, and as of now I have S ranks on all XD tracks. This took me a while but it was all worth it. I look forward to clearing the RemiXD tracks, which are made by the community (yes there's a difficulty that's even harder than XD). Speaking of community made tracks, you can also download custom tracks using SpinShare, and I gotta say, these custom charts are a blast to play through. I'm really glad the game includes custom charts in the form of RemiXD, and there are still more to come! You can also share videos of custom tracks in the Spin Rhythm XD Discord, and there are constantly community events being hosted, so that's great to see. If you like rhythm games, consider giving this a try!

Very fun, very intuitive, easy to learn hard to master type shit. A great game for any rhythm game enjoyer who needs to turn off their brain for a bit.

One of the most unique and fun rhythm games I have played for a while. This gives me massive DJ Hero vibes, but extremely well-polished. Easily goes in my top Rhythm games with DDR, A Dance of Fire and Ice, DJ Max, and Muse Dash. The game system is very unique and I haven't seen anything like it before. The UI is great and is always improving, the rhythm feedback is flawless, the community is extremely active, and best of all... YOU CAN ADD YOUR OWN CUSTOM TRACKS. W Rhythm Game.

Spin Rhythm XD is not just another rhythm game, but it has it's own twist, spin, flick and flow to it and these works well and makes the game fun to play. It focuses on the electronic songs, which fits perfectly to the "being a DJ" in the game and the songs are good too. There are 70 songs to play in the base game in 5 different difficulties, you need to unlock 48 by leveling up with the other songs, which is a straightforward system. Visuals are colorful, most skins looks good and they doesn't the eye. Controls both on controller and keyboard and mouse is playable, however at first you will have to get used to the mechanics of the game, but it's not bad. You can also chart your own songs in the game, the charter is a bit hard to use at first but you can get used to it. There is a couch multiplayer and VR support for this game, which is pretty nice. However, one thing I missed is to add custom songs. It's clear that I can chart my own songs, but I thought there will be an option to add some made by the community, but for that you need to visit a third party site and add the song manually. You can learn more about it from this guide made by fentanil0. Also, the game is quite difficult even on hard difficulty, for some this could be discouraging. Also, unlocking songs doesn't take too much time in the base game, however around the 55-60th song the experience level start to get more demanding and you have to replay previous songs. Of course, if you aim to get better in the game, this is a good time to play on a higher difficulty, but for some people this could be a little bit boring. Lastly, this is not really against the game but the Monstercat and Chillhop DLCs with 10-10 songs and a few cosmetics to the HUD is expensive in general, so either get it when it's on sale, or don't bother with them, as by default they together cost more than the base game for whatever reason. If you are into the rhythm game genre and you don't mind some electronic tunes, give it a spin to this game. In my opinion, this is one of the better modern rhythm games to play which plays and feels unique and I can definitely recommend it. 18€ is a bit much, but if you can get it for 10-12€, it's a good deal.
