Totally awesome walking sim story/experience game.

This game is a bit hard to follow in terms of story, BUT - the story that I interpreted was a well-crafted one. If you are looking at this game as a horror game, I suggest you stop looking. This isn't a game to expect to piss your pants on. The story is fairly linear from what I have gathered, although there was one part of the game that I never got to explore near the end. The graphics are plenty good, and considering this is the only game I even know of that came from this developer, I give it a 7/10

If you like walking sims you will like this....if you don't then don't buy it. It's that simple. I've played many walking sims, this is not one to miss. * I did get this one sale. well worth it at that price of $14.

The Dreamcatcher is a bit like an art museum. Beautiful visuals, you may experience some emotions, and every now and then, you get the sense that something is trying to kill you. My childhood was a bit different. Anyways. Pros: - The visuals. Goodness gracious. The textures range from good to great and the lighting just looks beautiful. There's some slightly rough edges here and there with animations, but it doesn't really subtract from the experience. - The sound design is A+ Well okay almost all of it. There's some weird sounds here and there that I'm not really sure if they're supposed to be scary or not. Cons: - Though I'm kind of a fan, I can see where some people may not be, the story is pretty abstract. If you're a concrete thinker, this may be the weakest part of the game. Even if you have a story in mind, it's still a little bit flimsy. Neutral? - I've never done a neutral section before, but the horror elements in this game are present, but barely. However, if you approach this game as just a semi-creepy game. It's enjoyable. If you're expecting pure horror, this isn't it. Overall, this is a very neat experience! Not really a horror game, but an occasionally creepy game.

I really liked the game. Even though it has some horror elements, most of it still feels relaxing. As other people said, the design is great and the graphics look very nice. The only thing that I was missing is more story. Until the final credits I was waiting to be told what happened to the main character, but all that I got was only a couple of vague hints. Anyway, as far as I understand, this game is the studio`s debut, so from that point of view - there`s nothing to complain about. Looking forward to play other games from these guys.

Phew this is hard to judge. Overall the game is basically a walking simulator in dream-like places. You get a few hints about the protagonist, and though I heard there are three endings, I only found one. For the cheap money I felt I was entertained enough. It is... not like anything I had seen and less a game than some piece of art. The downside is, I was not very much wiser about the "story". Maybe as a Westerner there are many symbols I just didn't know if they represent something for someone from China, which just escaped me. Overall I did not regret it, but to be honest, I prefer games with a bit more of a normal story and ending.

I haven't played many walking simulators but I really enjoyed this game. The graphics were beautiful and I loved the soundtrack as well. It doesn't have too much of a story but I liked the dream/nightmare aspect and it represented well what some people fear. It has some horror elements in it, but I wouldn't classify it as horror genre. https://youtu.be/Pj8adSsFAg0

No. Has all the hallmarks of a bad walking simulator: - snail pace, telegraphed story - bugs on modern hardware making passing certain scenes impossible - autosave at the worst points, forcing you to replay entire chapters on a bug - no real support for SUW at 32:9, leadign to a claustrophobic fov and streched out textures. Big no from me, until they fix it (which will be never as it's been 2 years since the last upgrade)

very interesting walking sim. holds your interest and the dreaming itself is relatable which in itself is a little unnerving. dont expect to be blasting monsters in this game . its more of a visual experience that hits the right notes. good work.

I'm giving a thumbs down to this game not because I dislike this game, but to bring attention to the game's issues. This is a good walking simulator, however the terrible FOV and slow walking/running speed of the character made me so sick that I almost puked. It's one of the worst first-person games I've played in terms of motion sickness. If you are also prone to motion sickness like me, then I suggest not playing it for more than 20 minutes at a time. I wish the developer added a custom FOV slider and speed up the character's movement. There is also no button customisation which is understandable for a short game like this, but I don't like the WASD layout.
