Got it because in the description it says there is autobattle, played for awhile... no autobattle in sight. refunded

Hey Ninja Lv.99, nice to meet you!
You'll be able to auto battle after completing a few main story line on the first region.
Auto-battle can only be used on a three star rating area, that acquired when you successfully defeating enemy without losing any group.
Hope this helps :)
I appreciate the developer's response but it feels like a lie to change my recommendation to Yes. Hopefully the game is successful and people will like it for what it is.

Its insane to leave a negative review because the game doesn't line up with the user defined tags that you saw.

So you have not played the game for long enough to see the feature you want. Give it a bad review because of this and then accuse the developer of lying when he advises you how to get to that feature? It's a good job people don't get to review the reviewer if this is how you work?
Edit: changed to recommend game even though I don't like it do to pressure from other users. Auto battle wasn't my only issue with it, but there isn't a neutral option between yes and no

It can be a bit grindy esp near the end if you want to get 100% achievements with giga master. Otherwise I found it quite enjoyable esp once auto battle came into play. A lot of the monsters have neat designs & while the storyline is pretty short it was a fun cheap game to pick up for a change of pace from what I normally play!

Short, simple monster catching game with great pixel graphics. Appropriately priced, took me about 4.5 hours to get 100% achievements. You do have to do some grinding if you want everything.

Soul of Giga is a fun but flawed monster tamer.
The pixel art is rather charming, along with the monster designs. The different sections of the game were fun to progress through. There wasn't any grinding, with all of it being optional if you want to achieve 100% (like me). The game also ran well, with no lag or major glitches.
There were a few problems I had. I found that the battles could get kind of repetitive. The game was also rather short, with the main campaign being completable in about 3 hours or so. While there were no major bugs, I did find that sometimes some of my inputs were not connecting.
Despite its shortfalls, Soul of Giga is a fun little romp that even the most inexperienced of players can enjoy. I'd check it out if you like monster taming and want a shorter adventure. If you're someone that seeks challenging gameplay and riveting storytelling, then you might want to give this one a pass.

It's a good game as Goodypundit style (Upgrade&Incremental).
As your fan, i can say this game is worth it cost (money&time).
But i want to comment about MP gain balances in this game. If you use sprite size gigas you will gain MP as much as you can stack it, but for the bigger size giga you gain the same amount MP as sprite but you can't stack it. this is VERY ANNOY me.
And some giga is very HARD to find, and i didn't mean the legendary. (trust me if i said it very hard, i really mean it).

I really enjoyed the game but it's really grindy
I also soft locked my game because it required a feast to progress and I had already grinded to max level :(

Boring, simplistic battle system where you spend most of the time just attacking to build up mp, you fight the same mobs far too many times especially in a game with no speed up button and there's little strategy in any battle. And the game's supposed to be short even though it's clearly bloated.
Overview
Soul of Giga (SoG) is a simple monster collecting turn-based RPG. While it is on the short side, and also a bit easy, it may still be worth a look for anyone into the genre for its fun monster designs and fair asking price. It’s also rather impressive that the game was developed by just a single person and you can tell a lot of passion and love was put in the game which made it a more worthwhile experience for me to play through despite the more casual nature. The simple gameplay makes it fun to just wind-down to collect and battle monsters after a long day.
Monsters
As expected of a monster game, the monsters (called Gigas) are the main attraction. They range from small cute little guys to large kaiju-looking monsters. All Gigas are not created equal and some seem to be straight up superior to others. That said, even weaker Giga can keep up through an interesting system. Duplicate Gigas that’s are collected can stock up in the same monster slot.
So, there are four monster slots. If a Giga is repeated, a whole group of them occupy the same slot. This means you can have a whole army of Giga rather than just a party of four. It is pretty neat and I really enjoyed this mechanic.
Story
There is not much to say – the story is really just an excuse to go from point A to point B. Collect monsters and beat up the bad guys. It serves its purpose well enough.
Gameplay - Battle
SoG is a turn-based RPG where the turns are ordered based on the monsters’ speed. The party is consisted of four slots on both sides – but as indicated before a slot may be occupied by more than one monster.
Combat is rather simple with a rock-paper-scissors sort of elemental system of monster types. Thus, the only real difficulty is when the player fails to make a balanced team or the opponent happens to have a strong type matchup with over-leveled Gigas. There is always the ability to grind, however, so any sense of difficulty is eventually lost with a few level-ups.
Gameplay – Story Progression
Quests to progress the side are definitely the weaker side of the game. Most seem to be some form of fetch quest or “go here and do thing”. Some of the quests are rather frustrating as they are based on RNG – such as needing to summon a specific Giga. I was near the end of the story and never seen that Giga, apparently. Luckily, I figured out where to find it searching the forums, and it also seems to be pretty RNG-based to find it.
The other problem is the feast system and soft locks. A feast is just yet another quest where you must fulfill certain conditions as instructed such as “level-up”. I encountered a soft lock where I was unable to progress. This was due to a quest to start a feast that would not fulfill the conditions. I had “leveled up” numerous times yet the quest made no progress.
Thankfully, the developer is responsive and was able to patch a fix so that hitting the level cap won’t soft lock the game.
Specs
I have no issues running the game.
Operating System: Windows 10
Processor (CPU): Intel Core i5-3570K CPU @3.40GHz
Graphics Card (GPU): NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070
Memory (RAM) 16 GB
Summary
SoG was a nice casual experience when I just wanted to relax. While it is a little rough with some of its flaws in game design (RNG, etc.) it was still a simple enough game with a fast pace that allowed me to breeze through without too much trouble. If you are in the mood for an Indie pokemon-experience for just a few short hours this could be fun. This won’t satisfy the itch if you are looking for something complex, however.
That said, the game has a lot of charm and neat ideas. Gigas have really cool designs as well and the price of admission can be worth it just for the fun of collecting an army of Gigas. I am looking forward to seeing more from this developer and the worlds they develop.

Game released, I got it to try. Absolutely worth at least 5$ for the music and visuals. The horde collection thing is interesting, but can lead to a few difficulty jumps as the wild Gigas collect their own forces. Simple, but satisfying

This is a very well designed battle monster game with beautiful artwork and a simple but effective gameplay. Extra points for being fully playable with just the mouse.
Also, about the bad review someone left saying there's no autobattle, said feature unlocks after finishing some quests, after an hour of playing or so. However is not autobattle like an autochess, where you deploy your gigas and they autofight, is the classic "after you three-star an area you can skip the battle and get the rewards" feature.
