Feels like a broken prototype of a game. Some of menu buttons won't work and collision detection seem to not detect collision often.
Space shooter with 2 game modes, not multiple modes
For my taste the speed is like 100% too fast. That makes it unneccessary challenging or let's say frustrating. The first time when you play the defender mode you'll see dozens of swarming triangle ships from 4 different directions crashing within 1-2 seconds onto your planet - game over. WTF? What I'm supposed to do in this mode, you think There's a solution to attract them away from your planet and try to dodge them around while shooting them one by one. The game has many random RNG-based elements like powerup drops, attacking enemy ship types or suicidal ships. Somekind of gamebreaking I find that you can get a healing powerup for your ship, but not for your planet. This planet only takes 10 hits then it is game over. A secret is that in orbit of your planet you can heal your ship as well. But then you attract the enemy ships again. The triangle ships are bugged and can really become annoying when they bump into you and keep on shooting. You have to evade them far from distance. The white missiles sometimes are just one-hit kills for your ship. The best powerup to collect is the shieldbomb (flash symbol) which destroys all enemy ships in a radius. But unfortunately no laserbeams so you still have to be aware of your health. If you collect 2 symbols for the shieldbomb - they are not stackable. The navigation is just minimal leftclick = follow the cursor / rightclick = lasershot (be careful it can overheat! And needs then to cooldown) and space for shieldbomb drop. The big plus of the game is the very cool 8bit soundtrack. Enjoyed it for the entire playthrough time. So I would say the odds are totally against you and I really had to grind a lot to reach level18 and the 1000 kills. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2069559684
