Just listen to the other bad reviews. Don't make the same mistake I did. I saw the negative reviews, said screw it, downloaded it anyway. Why not right? It was included in this saga bundle crap.
Listen to me, DON'T DO IT. DON'T INSTALL THIS ONE. it'll make you f*cking rage quit man. This is a bs walking simulator, picture taking the Marine corps physical fitness test. That's basically it. No horse, no fast travel, run from here to there. That's basically it dude. I love warhorse but who in their right mind would make this? Every quest in this dlc does nothing for the actual game. At the end you get hound master, but otherwise it's a complete waste of time. It's just lore, if you want to even call it that. I wouldn't. You will slog about 4-5 hours into it and will have no way to go back to your actual storyline.
Just don't do it, man. Avoid it. Listen to the negatives. Save time, don't install it. Remove the checkmark in DLCs under preferences for KCD. Thank me later.
Don't. Just don't.
Please save yourself some time. The reward for the work is absolutely not worth it.

This is the single worst DLC for any game I have ever played. Beyond tedious and way too much forced stealth. Do yourself a favor, and skip this one.

In terms of play experience: the first act is mostly a slog, the second is miserable, and the final is okay.
In terms of writing, it's all pretty solid.

Johanka storyline is epic and its one of the best missions in the whole game.
But Theresa's gameplay is Tutorial 2: more Tutorial than ever. Playing as Theresa or as a woman its really a good idea since youve got to follow certain rules and i wish the results arent missunderstood so we can have female protagonist again, but the gameplay is really restricted. Also, you ask her about Skalitz but she only tells you before she rescues Henry. How they got to Rattay or how did they bury the bodies of loved ones remains as a mystery.
After all, Theresa's part is not bad since this game was never thought to play with many more than 15 civilian kills and combat is quite a minimum part of the experience. With this I mean that its good enough to not regret asking what happened in Skalitz too long, if you liked the game at least. But there are better DLCs. Also, Warhorse managed to make you feel it even knowing how did it end up.
<< From now on there might be SPOILERS >>
- Some Theresas and Johankas quests result felt so forced, specially in comparison to Henry's situations.
- Some Theresas quests felt forced by itself.
- Theresa being better at sword than Henry at start, but very weak to clinch, but strong and good enough to win - against 2 to 3 cumans at the same time, but foolish enough to perfect block seems so confusing in a lot of ways.
- The Theresa DLC allows you to commit a lot of crimes that you should not be allowed. Including murdering.
- The way to obtain money is very limted. The best ways are save-scumming with the player or playing archery.
- A lot of items that you find annoying Henry when buying because they are for woman arent even meant to be used during female gameplay.
- All your gameplay with Theresa means nothing after all.
- Piercer is more op than in Henrys gameplay. This isnt bad at all, is an advice.
- The insane speed of your character to get dirty really breaks immersion, this should be overall of the game but with Johanka you dont last many more than two quests and with Theresa, since there are no baths houses in Skalitz, there are many cutscenes where you are completely clean while in the gameplay you have sand to build a desert in your dress.
- I understand that Theresas outfit needs to fit with what was told, that its very hard to drive the story consistently by this way, and that there are costs involverd but being unable to rob and use cuman armor or even shields felt unrealistic and stupid. Even, Matthew and Fritz would make a lot of stupid things just for a few easy groschen but in the DLC they just hide in a cave. Still appreciate how the DLC manages to show you once more the type of scum Fritz and Matthew are by making them lie to you about going to Talmberg and asking for help if it was safe even after knowing by Herny that Talmberg was safe during the whole night.
there are better ways to fit Tinker missing :((. ill recommend but ill never forget what you did to Tinker

Yeah, the quests are a bit tedious, but the overall story makes it worth it.

Do not bother. This may sound like an interesting DLC at first, but it does very little with the concept and more importantly its INTENSELY tedious. First you walk around the tutorial town talking to people. Then you walk around the tutorial town again. then you sneak around the tutorial town, which is both unfair and unfun, then you sneak around the outskirts of town and its unfun again. it takes like 5 hours minimum, and adds almost nothing to the story. You get a shield out of it at the end for henry though so I guess thats neat.

This was bad. unfortunately, I didn't even know it was a dlc until after I had suffered through it. I would only recommend this if you have done every single quest in the entire game and you want literally any other crumb of lore for the characters. If you are that bored and desire so strongly to see something new in this game, then you can take this dlc and keep it away from me.

I was interested to see what Theresa went through, but this is very boring, tedious, and just feels like work. I suppose perhaps it's historically accurate in that way, but not very enjoyable.

I'm writing a review for this just to offset the negativity - this expansion excels in terms of writing. If you're okay with going at the game's pace (which only gets boring if you truly don't care about the characters) then the quests contained in A Woman's Lot are some of the most enjoyable parts of the game.
