I'm very interested to see this project become what it's developer intends of it. The game's description and a message that is shown before you can play it emphasize the fact that, at least for now, it will probably not be a very satisfying experience, since the present state of the project and it's final goal are immensily distant.
It is, indeed, not a good gaming experience. It does deliver most of what it promesses in the description regarding character control, inventory system, resource gathering, crafting system, day/night cycle, but in a very crude way.
As for the social system and family system I couldn't observe it's functionality nor it's impact on the game. This could probably be due to the little time I spent playing it.
What really stroke me as an unpleasent surprise was to discover the absense or a very difficult way to explore some of the features mentioned in the description as included in this early acces version. The most importan thing here is that I couldn't manage to obtain the tools required to do many activities that would allow me to explore the game features further. This means I could't find or craft and axe, a hammer or a sword, thus being unable to, mine, gather wood or fight (I must confess I could have tried to deliver fury and righteousness to my enemys with my fists, but it didn't pass my mind while playing).
I hope this project can engage many participants and result in a really good game, but I bealive something should be done immediately to make the path to achieve this objective more enjoyable to players and deliver what it should already have by now.
