I must admit I was surprised by Absinth. I've played some of the classic horror games and hoped that this game would not catch me off guard or even give me some scares during the time I've been making history. The game has an engaging climate, with a story that holds you from the start, the low light, combined with the soundtrack of a ghostly and desperate air, contributes to the quality of the game. Another thing that increases tension even more and improves the experience of the game are the puzzles, even though they are not totally intuitive, they make you need to think fast while the environment charges you to be faster and faster. There are a few bugs in the game, but nothing that detracts from the gameplay since it must be hit right up to the actual launch of the game. From 0 - 5 I would give 4.2 to the game.

You can clearly see that blackHound Studios have put a lot of heart and effort into this game. Pablo Lobo Marin did some good looking art work. If you have had a taste of the frantic feel of despair while depending on a low battery camera in Outlast, then Absinth is certainly a seed of that kind. For that aspect, it seems very promising. It could have a more modest price, but Absinth v083 is something you can place a wager on if you enjoy supporting new developers.
