It's totally worth the price, and the mechanics are quite fun, but the game has some really flawed game design, and most of the time you just roam around without having any idea of what you need to do to reach your goal of saving the prince. The oracle (supposed to tell you what you will have to / will need to do) apparently is an attempt of solving this mess, but it's simply not enough. "Why would you do the dungeons"? In Zelda-games, usually you have to collect, for example, x instruments to wake up the Wind Fish. Why am I exploring dungeons without purpose? Apparently, it's just to get some items, as the protag doesn't bother to think too much besides "well, the prince was kidnapped, i have no idea where is the castle but huh gotta get some items in the dungeons, man". It's not a matter of babysitting, as I would love to explore for myself all this world, but the game not only doesn't make sense but it misses a lot of BASIC game design made to give the player a good experience. For example, you need to manually go all the way to exit the dungeon after killing the boss. If you enter a building, the lever, supposed to give you access to a bridge (so you don't need to walk all the way through the dungeon again), is now turned off, and guess what? You need to walk all the way through the dungeon again, and again. The dungeons are basic and there wasn't a lot of effort to make it challenging or to give some intelligent design. It just looks the same, it feels like "well, one more generic dungeon, let's go!". Maybe it's because I'm still on the second dungeon (and I plan to finish the game, so I will edit this when I finish it), but sadly the dungeons, one of the most important factors of a Zelda-like, are empty and lack effort and love. I am used to Oracle, so I know very well that I should lift every single rock and kill every single enemy to get a key / find a button, but this isn't beginner friendly at all. And having to lift 30 rocks to find one button? It just seems like it lacks creativity. Also, there are some bugs, like if you open certain chests containing money and you die, you return to your old save without the money BUT without the chest on the world (as it counts as if you already had interacted with them). Most of the time is just searching for the dungeon, without a clue at all, no thoughts, head empty, and without reason to search for the next dungeon, as the protagonist for some reason just wants to raid dungeons and get cool items instead of putting effort to save the prince, But again, for the price, it's totally worth it.
