Although it doesn't look very attractive on the surface due to the seemingly random graphic style and design, the game is incredibly fun and addictive. The gameplay is solid, and the timing and reward system are well thought out. Valensia's soundtrack may seem out of place, but it reflects the creator's tastes, adding a unique touch to the game (the songs are clearly inspired by Queen's early albums, with the boss battle song, in particular, resembling a remix of 'The Fairy Feller's Master-Stroke' and 'Flick Of The Wrist'). Believe me, the creator of the game knows a thing or two about arcade games. Furthermore, the game runs smoothly on the Steam Deck, making it a perfect fit for this genre of games.
