Fun game but it would be nice if it had more content.

Fun spin on the chess problem games, with extra units doing different things. It's a lot of fun but the ai doesn't really understand the concept of trading pieces and is hyperdefensive. Example of an exploit against this behaviour is in the spoiler. [spoiler]Once you figure out you can just use the prince and king in tandem and the ai will never attack the prince if it's defended you can basically deathblob towards the enemy king. Add a phoenix or two to suicide in and you've basically beaten the game, at least a lower difficulty. [/spoiler] Some pieces are better than other, like in real chess, but to the point where there are no reasons to pick up some of them[spoiler], for example, a pawn[/spoiler] as even their upgrades are underwelming or none are available alltogether. Certain relics act as modifiers: some simply scale your power, others are fun, like the randomizer (but rarely pickable in a serious run) and others again modify slightly the rules of chess and, united with the new pieces, really force you to think outside the box. If you like chess puzzles I would recommend it, expecially if on sale.
