Wow... just... wow... This game can be defined as a sort of "relaxed" version of the beautiful indie horror game called "Darkwood", which I strongly recommend if you haven't played it yet. But the gameplay is much different. While Darkwood is a tough and punishing survival horror, Rooten is a slow-paced walking sim with very slight combat elements. You just have to walk around at your pleasure. And look. No, not just look... the right word is "witness". The main concept of this game is pure genius. I'd like to explain it to you, I'd really like to, but I won't, because it would be a horrible spoiler. You have to play this masterpiece blindly to fully enjoy its uniqueness. This game GIVES SHIVERS. In every possible way. This game is another excellent example of why indie devs are the true future of this medium. Do yourself a huge gift, and play this spectacular piece of art. You'll thank me, trust me. Cheers guys!
