This game is still under development, but I honestly think I can already say that it is one of the most original games I have ever played. From the point of view of the gameplay, it is simply a puzzle game, but the few puzzles I tried so far were very well designed, and one in particular was very, very clever. What makes this game so special are the visuals: everything is psychedelic, full of colors, but also rough and creepy; every single level is a piece of art, and all this is enriched by a pleasant music and well placed sound effects. The narrative component is very heavy, it is the story of a life, essentially, filtered through the eyes of the mind. There is a constant sense of suspence that makes you keep playing, you literally can't wait to see where all this madness is going to lead you. Currently only some chapters are available, but they were more than enough to blow my mind. I can't even imagine what awaits me in the upcoming levels! I think this game deserves our full trust. Don't lose the opportunity to play something you never saw before! Edit.: So... after months here I am again... telling you why you SHOULD ABSOLUTELY PLAY THIS GAME! Man, I have been following the development of the EA version of this game since its release, I have seen it slowly but vigorously grow up, and now, after the May/June 2021 update (which I think will be the last adding new content, I'm not really sure), I can say, with all my honesty, that Mango has undoubtedly become one of the best videogames I have ever played in my whole life. Mango is the perfect definition of why indie devs are the true future of this medium. This game is technically very simple, there are no photorealistic graphics or spectacular gameplay innovations, but, nevertheless, is probably one of the freshest and most original games you can find on this platform. Level after level, you will ALWAYS find something new, something surprising, astonishing, either a breathtaking visual, or a creepy but fascinating piece of art, or a totally unexpected gameplay situation. I had tons of fun from the beginning to the end, non-stop. With every new update, the devs introduced something that left me speechless, for a reason or another. AND, these devs really listen to your suggestions! You propose a new feature, and they do their best to implement it! And of course they fix all the bugs they can. For example, in the first builds of the game there was an annoying bug which randomly kicked you back to the beginning of the current level, but, after I reported it, the devs solved the problem in no time, and now the game works flawlessly! That's how a good product should be developed. I am proud I invested my money, time, trust and support in this project, because I have seen it evolve into something special I could have never imagined. I have been playing games for almost 20 years now, so I have seen many things, and I can say I learnt something in the process. So, if you trust the advice of an old player with some experience, I STRONGLY recommend the purchase of this game. Trust me, you will be happy, because the content it offers is astonishing for its price. For 5 euros (I don't know how many dollars it is), you will get a game with a surprising longevity, a very high quality artwork, and a very nice gameplay component which will always surprise you and keep you on your toes, for hours and hours. So, to summarize, a 10/10 for me, fully deserved. Cheers guys!
