Avis sur Run Of Mydan

Nice game

Run of Mydan is what i was waiting from VR, it has impressive graphics in-game. The feeling of really be inside in another virtual phantasy world perfectly works for this one, you can turn and watch around you phantasy landscape and ennemies coming from everywhere. The design is beautiful, dragon and living characters are made of stone and electric energy which is very stylish and it changes from every other VR games on the market from now. Even your skin character in multiplayer has a particular material design which is really cool. The gameplay is not a rail shooter, you are flying on a rock in the solo and you can dodge with it. You can move and turn around as you will and this is really what i call movement in virtual reality! Later in the solo it changes and it improves about flying but i don't want to spoil. There is a multiplayer and i had the chance to play with developpers! Even if they were stronger than me ( they know their own game^^) i could easily fly in the direction i want as a super-hero would be ( Superman, Son Goku ) and i throw energy blast balls to them. Telling about the throwing mechanics, it is the best game about it. Throwing energy balls and spears feels very natural and you reach your aim. If you are a sportive man this game is for you! If you are bad at throwing stuff in real life, this game will train you to be a baseball champion! xD Even if the game is hard, the movement is very intuitive and i get some kills in multiplayers!! The story mod require some training because it is somekind of arcade like classics as Space Harrier, After Burner or Panzer dragoon. Sometimes it reminds me Ikaruga because you have to dodge lazer beams that pop out from everywhere and it is amazing to watch for real in the vr headset!! I know there are a lot of little games in Vr but this one is a real game because it has every ingredients ( original universe and visual, story mod with giant boss!! Sportive multiplayer, good gameplay and intuitive ). Well a must buy for HTC owners. When my friends come to my house, i let them try Run of Mydan, we discuss and are all agreed about the fact that the game is good and do the job for VR. For an early access game it is already a gem. I am still waiting for the coop implementation :P
