This game is great, its simple and yet very efficient at what its trying to do Gameplay : You saw the trailer, its a classic boomer shooter, but with some small twist here and there, you go fast, kill fast, but what make this game apart from the rest imo is those small twist, you don't got a lot of weapon and you gotta find them in every levels, but actually every levels are pretty short and it allow the game to create unique situations you wouldn't find yourselves in if you had a full arsenal at all time, the bestiary is pretty identifiable if you played those games and yet you will find some novelty here and there in their executions But my favorite feature is the rewind, my god, if you played those games at some point you reached the quicksave obsession, always be sure that you are close to a save so that you wouldn't have to replay a part all over again ? well no more ! with the rewind feature, when you die you can rewind dynamicaly to whenever you want, its great and whats even greater is that it isn't busted, sure you could use that feature to avoid every bullets and all, but its pretty clear that wasn't made for that, with its short levels, its overall a great features that take away the burden of the quicksaves Sounds : Music really cool ! pretty chill and nice, im not a sound guy, but overall its pretty efficient soundwise Visuals : Simple and efficient, you want a clear feedback on your hitscan weapon ? you got one, good and simple feedback are all over the place, its really great While its graphics aren't gonna be for everyone, i really like that it truly emulate the retro visuals without falling in the ugly, its also a nice change to see a very vibrant game, don't get my wrong i love fighting demon and all in grimdark environnement, but you know sometime a change is nice. Overall this game is simple, sweet and very good at what its aiming for, you want to have a fun time without investing 50h in a game ? go for it ! this game is worth your time They even added an endless mode, good stuff !
