this game is the biggest joke ever. we have patienly waited for this game to finally get 4 broken level for 18 buck. i didn't play the original much more than monkey business (for now) so maybe im wrong, but by seeing the other review, this game definitely have a problem. the first level: pain in the ass, the monkey alwais sandwich you, you its feel so RNG. second level: the first part is not that bad, the second is a bit worst because she can just teleport directly in you. the chase, impossible with 3 life the first time playing, you are cornered, there is bomb everywhere, very bad. the battle not that good and easily boring third level: horrible, this entire level is pain. this is like a weeping angel level but becuase its 2D you can only look right or left. not up and down, so you are screwed a lot of time, bonus point i was playing with a controller and a lot of time when i wanted to look right (for example) well my character look right then left right after, makin me dead, and the D-pad dont work, a shame for a SNES inspired game. the garden and manor was the same pain with trap everywhere. the end is so bad. first to get back to the garden its 50/50 right kill you, left you live. the "boss" is absolutely not clear. first you have the statue and the other bad guy that i forgot the name and that go though wall. and like, in this part the gate is locked so im tryng to search a keu or something but know, you have to wait that mister giant throw a axe on the gate and after dying too much time you can finally escape. maybe im bad but i died 42 time on the last level. and im supposed to do it with 3 live ? no i didnt do the fourth level yet, i need to calm down. but thats not very good. the controller is a bit glitchy in the menu, very hard to navigate. some are litteraly impossible like there is no option that i am on. so i have to use my invisible mouse to go back. also have some graphical error. some texture go into other. the door sliding...? is so ugly, it take the door and the background when it move, not very polished. so yeah thats not very good i think its cool that we have localization day one but yeah, there you have it we waited like 2 years for 4 bad level ? with a price tag of 18 buck ? the fricking original game is on sale right now for 11 buck. and with more content than this im pretty sure. glowstick, im not too familiar with dark deception i've only played the first level of DD and a bit of M&M but we all know that people are waiting for chapter 5 from a lot of time now. and instead of finishing you main game you decide to make a spin off that is not even completed on release ?? you are kidding us ? and after chapter 2 is out you will make another game instead of making chapter 3 ? im not familiar with your work but i dont think i will keep this game in my library. i definitely have no trust into you for being positiv on the future of this game. i will refund it, and wait when everything is out and fixed for buying it again. and with luck there will be a interesting sale. for now, don't buy this game. wait to see the futur we don't need another case like spookware. update: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1cLKOcmEjKKZ3PO5d01B1gPvtdXajeZmPRkYQ9fkr21Q/edit?tab=t.0 read this doc and see Glowstick true face. the truth must be shared
