Avis sur Blasphemous 2

Très bon jeu

So as a big fan of Blasphemous 1 and wanting more of that universe I played this one as well and I'd say overall I do not regret it. Let me start with the positives. - There are a lot of new additions to the gameplay, notably the use of 3 weapons instead of one, which keeps the game mechanic fresh. You will need to master them each if you want to access every part of the map which is very fun! There are also a lot of different collectibles and abilities that help you boost your arsenal in different ways. - The graphics are, again, top notch and the cinematics are beautiful. The style for those has changed, in 2D instead of pixel art which allowed the team to make them longer and more detailed. - Some bosses are hard, which to me is great since you typically play Blasphemous if you like a challenge. Especially if you bought the DLC, one of those bosses is ridiculously fast with a very small window where you can hit him, and it makes beating him super rewarding. Some of the bosses' designs are also really inventive. That said, I would say this one is not as good as the first game unfortunately.. Time for the negatives. - The final boss is ridiculously easy, especially if, like me, you're a completionist and you got all the upgrades beforehand. - The multiple endings [spoiler] are not that different, except for the cinematic. The final boss doesn't get a power up or a second phase which to me was a miss [/spoiler] and leaves you with an underwhelming feeling. - I didn't deal with many bugs, just one that occurs during a boss fight that I know a lot of other people have dealt with.. you can't hear any music. But exit the game and come back and it should do the trick. - You also don't have the option of replaying the game in a higher difficulty nor refight the bosses only (if you want to do that you have to play the whole game again). I'm aware it might not be fair to compare this game to the first but it was a cool option that I wish we had in this one as well. Overall I still recommend this game if you liked the first Blasphemous and are craving more, just don't expect it to be quite as good (but I do think it was also the novelty that made me enjoy it as much as I did on my first run). I'd also recommend to buy the Mea Culpa extension if you want more of a challenge.

Toujours aussi addictif bien que moins difficile que le premier opus. Les musiques, l'ambiance et le style graphique bien particulier ont été conservé. Un métroïdevania de très bonne qualité.

Bon jeu, tourne bien sur Steam deck. Quelque fois un peu dur mais je continue à avancer. Très bonne musique et voix espagnoles, ça contribue à l'ambiance gothique.
