The Voidness - Lidar Horror Survival Game Bewertungen

I give you my reasons. Disclaimer I have standards and won't lower them. This isn't about UHD textures but BASIC COMPETENCE as you will see in a minute. 1. No mouse control - AT ALL. No cursor in the menus AND you can't use it to navigate. And the fonds are inconstent. The first menu is fine and once you are in the game its a ugly 'lets remove 50% of the letters because THE FUTURE' ... its just too bad that you know, MENUS ARE NOT PART OF THE GAMEPLAY............. YOU NEED TO READ THEM! TO DO STUFF! Windows 3.1 and my Amiga had mouse/trackball and even joystick controls for games. This alone is enough to kill any program. Let alone a first person game. 2. It says "pad control" but you CANT move the menus with the pad (neither dpad nor stick!!) and the menus respond sluggish and so does your character. I cranked it up to 3x the axil movement but this didn't really do anything. You still turn like a wale on meds. You can't rebind them just a few presets. Only a few AAA title managed to screw that one up in the past 20 years and they patched it in after. No excuse. 3. The FOV is like... 70 or so? I think its "VR" configured... its not ~110 for sure, so you get SICK from just moving around. Gave me PTSD from the first AvP (2000) game. The only other game that ever made me motion sick. No thanks. 4. NO GRAPHIC OPTIONS - AT ALL! None! It has a menu prompt "graphics" and its just EMPTY. You dont find resolution, fow, textures, or ANY setting. Its... i mean i dont get why they put "the option" there if you cant do ANYTHING. Its just a gray flat field?! And just in case you think "I hate" on it or "exeregate" - watch any video that shows the menus. I'd link a screenshot but i rather not get in trouble with steam. 5. You start with the usual "I was at sick bay aka hospital" so i missed the apocalypse clichee. This is so tiresome. I spare you to list the 500 games doing that before them... Shesh... anyhow, >There is a door you cant open. No information why. > Then i noticed a keycard went up to the 'button' or 'card scanner'. I cant interact with it. Neither with the door. Again, NO INFORMATION WHY. >I look and look and find a random power switch in a box on the wall and THAT activates the door (why such leaver on the sickbay?! So the game can happen? >.... and now the keycard thing works BUT you dont have to interact with the pad but just go through the door without any signal you even need the card. (i seriously cant tell if its later of use) but... just no. I this your idea of a tutorial? ......... --- I entered the 2nd room. Found one photo and thats about it. Its the tired "where is my child" story that was told by a few badly made snipits at the start. Also you can whistle by button prompt. Okay. Whatever. At this point i already had it with this "game" and closed it with the windows key and forced it shut since "menus no work right" and so on. Honest... if you are THIS incompetent in making a game that just STARTING it and walking 5 meters is that much of a hassle I dont bother to suffer through the rest. This is NOT a case of "oh its a small team" or "i don't like the style" - this is about lacking basic competence for a product people pay money for. I work for a living and spend time trying this and time again (here) to give you an idea what you done wrong. You OWE me! >RPG maker games are better than this. >Any free Tetris knock off i ever saw. >And don't get me started on Masterpieces like DUST AN ELYSIAN TAIL ... now that was made by ONE PERSON and it is incredible well done - so much so Totalbiscuit praised it! ("AAA devs can learn from this port!" eesh. Easily top 10 worst games I had the past 10 years. In fact I'd say this is the worst in the past 25 years (and i delivered examples as to why). Ride to Hell - is more entertaining AND offers mouse control and more... (think about that!) This is, i assume, just a piss poor VR port. Whatever engine they used they did not understand or have the technical knowledge to fix it. The best they could do is ask modders for help but selling it like this... -for any price -thats insulting. This is just above the level of the average 'steam greenlight' game. And FYI: I think it is a neat Idea. but seriously get help!
