I kinda get where the negative reviews for this game are coming from, but I don't 100% agree.
Yes, this is NOT the best Party Pack Jackbox has released. When you think about getting just a Party Pack, get 7 or maybe 3, these are the two almost everyone agrees on to be the best of the best.
That being said, JPP 10 is NOT a bad game. If you love Jackbox games, you will have fun with this pack, HOWEVER:
- The game was released unfinished. Not unplayable at all, but had some bugs and some missing features and I do get why people are angry about it. The production quality has really increased over the course of the last couple of packs, releasing a new one with 5 new games each year is insanity. I'm always happy about new Jackbox, but I can wait half a year or even a full year longer, if it increases the quality. I personally had not encounternd a large amount of bugs, but some functions were not 100% working as intended for sure. However, it seems like the latest patch got rid of most issues and even added some new content, which is very welcomed, but that we had to wait a month to get those fixes is really frustrating, especially when you think about...
- the increased price. I understand that the production quality got a lot higher in the newest packs and I do agree that the newer ones are worth more than like JPP 1 or 2, but given the state this game was released in, this was kinda disappointing.
- The games itself aren't peak Jackbox, but in my opinion, there is much fun to be had with them. This point is very subjective tho, so take the following reviews for the individual games with a grain of salt.
The games:
Tee KO 2:
Sequel to one of my favs in the franchise, and a good one! The new additions are nice, espacially the option to choose the font is really funny, however I wish there were more options. The new bracket structure also enhances the game by a mile, because seeing the same shirt over and over again was kinda lame.
The game does provide a few enhancements compared to its prequel. However, it doesn't offer that much new.
TimeJinx:
It's a pretty straight forward trivia game, nothing really special about it. I was kinda disappointed with this one, not because its a bad game (it's not!), but because this isn't nearly as creative as former Jackbox trivia games. It's solid, but just so standard and the time hopping theme doesn't contribute that much. Also for some players, some of the special rounds were a little counter-intuitive.
It's alright, nothing bad here, but also like I already said: very basic trivia.

This one's strange. It's some of the best fun I've had with a Jackbox game ever, but also... it's barely a game? You could literally play a bootleg version of this just with Google Docs, but still it's so funny and I kinda love it? This is not an outstanding game technically, but for me personally it really works. It's very stupid and very stupid fun.
Dodo Re Mi:
Yeah this one's a banger. It has so much content (even got more content with the update) and just the fact that you have actual progression in a Jackbox game ist kinda sick? And if you don't want to unlock everything (even though I love it), you can literally cheat and unlock everything from the start. Gameplay-wise it's a very basic mania-like rhythm game, but that you all contribute to one piece is just really cool, the instruments are hilarious and the songs are just bangers. I might want to add a minor criticism: Because you're all tapping on your own device, there is little to none player interaction during the actual gameplay, which is the main reason most people play Jackbox in the first place, but listening to the final piece together is really funny. Also we had some issues with the web controller while playing. There were a few disconnects and the website was sometimes lagging, which is kinda terrible for a timing-based game. As of now, I can't confirm if the update has fixed the issues or not, since I wasn't able to try it yet.
Still my point stands: That one's a banger.
Hypnotorious:
My most anticipated game, and I think it's good, but it has some major issues. The concept is really cool and I think it works well, that is if all players are familiar with how the game works. Unfortunately, this is probably the worst tutorial I have ever seen in a Jackbox game. There is no reason why to gatekeep the very important fact that there is an outliar until the start of the second round, it just makes no sense. Also I still don't fully understand how the final vote works and how exactly points are awarded, which is just bad. Again, I don't know if the update fixed some of these issues, but I really hope so, because otherwise this game is really fun and creative. I have read in the patchnotes, that at least the hint system got finally fully implemented, it was very confusing at first and just made the game feel unfinished. One more piece of criticism: Please give us the option to play just one full round instead of two, would be nice for a shorter game.
So that's the Jackbox Party Pack 10. It's good, not the best, but still a good game. I will just mention one more thing, because it always bothers me with Jackbox: Please give us more option to customize a game. Give us more setting options, please! Like how many rounds will be played etc. I have to admit that this game does have more settings options, but they are still very limited. It's not as bad as in some of the older packs (Push the Button really needs customizable settings), but I don't get why they are so extremely limited.
That's it.
I had fun with it.
I will probably have even more fun with it in the future.
Yeah.
Dodo Re Mi bangs.
