I'm a bit disappointed since it's way too short. I played it completely in just 30 hours. But if my English would had been perfect I had it finished in 15-20 hours most likely. Maybe even less yet. Despite the brevity of the visual novel, I really liked the plot and especially the drawings by Sei Shoujo, since I am a big fan of Sei Shoujo. But sadly his great drawings are a bit spoiled by these mosaic grids over the intimate areas of the figures (due Japanese law). I can definitely recommend it to all those who liked his other VN's translated into English such as "Bible Black", "Discipline", "Heart Work", "Closed Game" or the all-outstanding "Starless". However, you should definitely download the free P18+ patch from Johren beforehand. To do this, you must first register with Johren. But back to the game or the visual novel. In addition to the extremely short playing time, there are unfortunately only 3 possible endings as well. The plot is straight and you only have the opportunity to determine the further course of the plot yourself once, and that only at the very end, only to decide what the further life of the main character Makise looks like. All those who have ever played "Starless" certainly still know the Mistress Marie Mamiya. Although she is extremely evil, cruel and unscrupulous, for me she is a goddess worthy of worship. I can't help but I just love evil cruel women. That was another reason for me to want to play the game. That's why I was so disappointed that it ended so quickly. I wish I could have experienced the meannesses of Marie Mamiya longer (sob). On the other hand, when I think back to "Starless": My God, I really had a few nights of real nightmares at that time ! However, if you are hypersensitive or have a weak heart or weak nerves, I advise against playing "Great Deceiver", as well as all the other Sei Shoujo VN's. Also worth mentioning are the wonderful voices of the Japanese voice actresses, who contribute to a large extent to the exciting atmosphere.
