Review: Sigh of the Abyss I really enjoyed Sigh of the Abyss! I’ve only played through it once, so I can’t say much about the different routes or how much the story changes. However, I believe there are at least two significantly different paths. One feature I really appreciated was the ability to customize preferences. From what I experienced, the three male characters didn’t attempt to flirt with me, which I found very refreshing and well-implemented. Positives: -Awesome powers – they felt truly badass. -Engaging worldbuilding – the setting was rich and immersive. -Well-developed characters – each had depth and personality. -The story got really intense towards the end – I was hooked! -Unexpected twists – some genuinely caught me off guard. -Voice acting – even though it wasn’t top-tier, it was impressive for an indie game. -Beautiful, painterly artwork – I absolutely loved the aesthetic! -Atmospheric soundtrack – it fit the mood perfectly and enhanced the immersion. -Great user interface – easy to navigate and well-designed. Negatives -Pacing issues – at times, it felt slow, like nothing was really progressing in terms of the story or character development, which left me feeling a bit lost. -Incomplete voice acting – some parts lacked voiceovers, and at times, the delivery felt flat or emotionless. -The ending felt too rushed – considering how long the rest of the game was, I expected a bit more buildup and depth in the final moments. Final Thoughts: Sigh of the Abyss is a unique experience with cool powers and interesting ways to use them. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and for the price, it offers a solid amount of content – my playthrough took me around 50 hours, though I do read slowly. I highly recommend it! Just a heads-up: if you’re looking for intimate romance scenes, you might be disappointed, as the game focuses more on character development and story progression rather than romance. But if that’s what you’re into, this game is absolutely worth it!
