For context optimization purposes, I will not discuss the common things that the first collection shares with this one, there are many other interesting things to note here that are worth the consumer's attention: As discussed, the first collection had a hidden anti-cheat within the engine that fires in the third game, this same manouver concerns this time every game inside this collection. This is really bad and is the supposed cause of the random lag spikes and input lags that I had to go through. Unlike the first collection, the next games did suffer some cut content due to some circumstances. The devs did medicate this by trying to include everything they could from the japanese releases and even introduced some solutions against the obvious lack of linking support with the Boktai games (I.E. allowing the player to obtain points through PVP and get the Boktai rewards). Sadly, the 4th game still suffers the translation errors, something which was out of my expectations due to the devs having delayed the release date and even writing most of the code from scratch. You may call this a faithful port if you are a fan, but a new player might not enjoy it. I do not have much to add here, but my opinion still stands out; 60 euros for this was worth it, it would cost +300 hours to finish both volumes, as the content of this collection is rich.

It does have a few flaws like no crossplay or that it pauses the game when you tab out or open the lc menu when mouse clicking but all in all it's so dang nice! Waited for years and am not disappointed :)

The 2. Vollium is also great! Again 3 games in one. I didnt like Battle Network 4. The game is very borring. I read many rankings where it made the bottom of the list and have to agree with this. You just get one enoying fetch quest after the other. You need all the game to run around and search for things which is very very borring and time consuming. I switch to use a guide to shorten it very fast. Because even when I know where to go it still took to long. The them of game 4 are tournaments. I was excited for that. Because having 3 difficult boss battles in a row sounds exciting. But the thing is its like the old anime trope for tournaments. Everytime Lan is ready for a new tournament battle his opponment disappears and you have to search for him first and do some quest so he can particite in the battle. I really hated this kind of story telling. Its very repetitive. When really every opponment docent want to battle or has some problem that needs to be solved to fight them. In my opinion if your opponment docent want to battle or cant do it because his robott rans away or gets stolen, you should win automatically because he gets disqualified. Trying this much to help your enimes, so you can have a tough battle against them. Seems wrong to me. I get that we are the good guys. But in the other games you usually fight evil secret societys. Dangerous Groups that want to destroy the world. And here you just help normal citisens with there every day problems. Running after your enimes and trying to get them to fight you, does not only get old fast. It also takes away that danger feeling. If your enemies are not able to get themself out of their own problems. How can they be big fearful opponments. I could not take them serious after I saw most of them in a very fulnerable situation before I fought them. The game has very very few real doungeons and the few are also very uninteressting. I played 4 after 1 and seeing how even the very first one had so much more doungeons pissed me off. You end up so much running around in town in 4 that there simply is no time left for fun doungeons. The many fetch quests take place in areas you already know. So you dont get to see much new areas. I would recommand only playing 4 after you played trough most of the other games and run out of games. Battle Network 5 is much better than 4. What I liked most about it, is that it has much more doungeons. There is a much bigger world to explore. While in 4 you just run arrands in already known areas you get to see new stuff all the time in 5. The game is also much longer. The story is better. What I didnt like about 5 are the liberation missions. They are just too hard. There are endbosses and optional bosses that I beat easily in a minit without taking much damage. But a liberation mission can take on for hours. You need to completly change your chip folder and navi programms to fit the way liberation missions work. The biggest problem about them is that you have only 3 turns to win a battle. For me this takes the fun out of the game. This forces you instead of using the chips that you like, to make a folder with chips that have the same letter code and chips that hit multiple enemies. There was no need for the 3 turn restriction. If you are not good at liberation missions you will have to bettle doesnt of battles any way. I dont get why you then even need to presure the player more. I felt constantly stressed by this missions. Because of the round limit I need to act very fast. So I often risk to take a hit, just to be able to attack faster. What costs HP, if you loose to much HP you need to pass turns to regain it. There are respawn points for enemies that produce more enemies each round. So I you are not good at defiting a specific one there will be lots around in a short time. You dont even get money for the battles or new chips. Which is the worst part. Because if you give up the battle you get almost nothing and loose maybe 2 hours of your real life time. If you would have just grinded against normal enemies you would now have lots of money and new chips.
