Renai Karichaimashita: Koikari - Love For Hire Bewertungen

Ren'ai, Karichaimashita or in short Koikari is a Comedy Slice of Life VN released by ASa Project & NekoNyan on 2021-10-22. The main concept of this one is similar to rent a girlfriend but just reversed. Instead it is the protagonist who the girls here can rent. The very concept in itself already creates problems for later on when the protagonist actually gets confessed to. At first the protagonist goes undetected while being rented by some of the girls at his school (Classmates and the Teacher). Emi especially is a big showoff and uses the Protagonist to show her friends that she has a boyfriend. For a while this goes well and the friends are somehow fooled by the show that they put on. That is also when this VN is at it's peak when it comes to it's comedy. But Later on when more of the girls actually start to develop feelings for the Protag it falls apart slowly. On Emi's Route, Hasumi is just an absolute annoyance who always gets in the way of them creating an very afwul and annoying Love triangle. Emi on Hasumi's Route is the same if not WORSE than Hasumi on Emi's Route. This goes as far as Emi kissing the protagonist on Hasumi's Route while Hasumi stands right next to the Protagonist, who was already her boyfriend at this moment. This is not a Love triangle, this had some NTR feeling to it. And so you are put in a very cringy and annoying romance during the entire Route of these 2 Girls. It was not entertaining nor cute nor Dramatic, It was just plain annoying having always the other Girl around disrupting pretty much everything the other 2 were planing to do. They just don't know when to back off, but the protag is just the same, instead of saying back off! I have a girlfriend now! He is to much of a pussy to say it and the results are devestating. And just the dare to make fun of Actually Cheating and taking away another loved one and turning it into a comedy is just sick in my opinion. I don't get what people find good in that or even seeing a turn on in this. Of course you maybe are not part of this, but I have been told that there are in fact quite a few people who find this stuff as a turn on. The other Routes such as Tsubaki are somewhat better but still the protag doesn't respect the feelings for her and just dates other girls while actually going out with her. And I'am not talking about just doing his job. there are just situations where the Protag feels bad for turning a invitation of a girl down, and starts going out on a date anyway even though he is seriously going out with another one at this point. So no Character in this VN has ANY delicacy, tact, respect or even common sense towards each other. Non Nada niente. Often times they are just Jealous and Horny and just want the protagonist very badly. Which I don't understand because he neither has any of the delicacy, tact, respect or even common sense as I just talked about. This makes the romance absolutely Pointless because there is no seriousness and feelings in it whatsoever. Yes the Girls are Cute but whats the point in it if they all act like jerks? Long Story short: Common Route: Good, Character Routes: Extremely Bad, Romance: Very Bad, Music pretty bad also. That's right the Music is also pretty bad. Some pieces sound like the developer made it themselves and they don't know how to properly play the instruments, sometimes the music conists just of a loop of a few seconds, which just sound afwul, we are not in the 80s anymore. The Only Good Thing I can talk about is the Comedy in the Common Route, I laughed a bit actually because it was actually funny. But once it shifts onto the Character Routes, that good Comedy is gone. So I can't recommend this Visual Novel to anybody other than people who are into some sort of NTR or to people who just read the common Route. My Overall Score for this Will be a 3/10.
