The Haunted Tunnel feels like another flip from Anamik Majumdar, who has a habit of reskinning the same basic GameMaker Studio templates and re-releasing them on Steam with a few minor tweaks. These templates are just simple retro pixel 2D top-down or platformer stealth/action games, and it’s frustrating that he keeps recycling them with little effort to improve or offer anything fresh. The graphics are basic and feel outdated, making it feel like a quick cash grab rather than a genuinely unique game. If you’ve played his other titles, you’ll probably notice the same patterns. There are better options out there if you're looking for something more original or polished.
