The game is simple and the world is small, but it's what I paid for and absolutely okay as I was aware of that due to the correct game description and the listed price. You are a crow, you can fly around or go down at the ground of a small forest (you can fly and go fast by holding Shift and slow but also use an autopilot option where the crow fly on its own with P key) and find worms (look a bit more like snakes to be honest) which are highlighted golden. I first thought the goal was to find all worms in the map, but after I while I figured that the worms seem to be spawned in over time. Unfortunately, there are no achievements or a counter of X found worms, which could have been cool and probably easy to implement but who cares. There is even an in-game leaderboard of players who found the most worms and I can't imagine how many times they most have spent in this game to find 10.000s of worms. LOL. Once you found the worm and picked it up with Mouse Left key, you eat it with F key. You do the same thing all over again. Would have been cool to implement more gameplay like for example bringing the worms to your childs after you picked them up. In general, you as the crow are the only animal aside of the prey, the worms, in this game, which is also a bit bad. Deers, rabbits or hedgehogs could have been implemented. The crow has an animation to fight, but with no other animals to fight for the prey its useless. Unfortunately, the crow is only white and missing textures, although it is has so many animations (it even can move eyes and shut lids). Would like to do a mod to give it colors/textures. A missing feature for me is the that the crow can't sit on the branches in the trees. Steering is good, however coming up in the air could be a bit troublesome sometimes. Tip: Click Q and thereafter hold Space. As said its a small forest. It has a sea in the middle, a few creeks, small waterfalls and even some paths, you can discover, but if you only fly through the trees and don't go to far up, you don't notice how small the world is as you always fly in circles. The game has ambient sounds, music and even the crow emits sounds. The game is graphic hungry for some reason but allows VSync. A nice and relaxing game to overcome some time. Would be great if the developer would come back and do some updates like the mentioned missing textures of the crow and maybe add more gameplay elements or increase the map. I would buy an advanced Bird 2 version with more gameplay and a larger and more diverse forest. Could be also listed on a higher price tag easily. By the way, they also have a Fox and Rabbit simulator with more gameplay to offer (but which also seem to have been abandoned after release). I wish that the dev would come back to their games and take care of it a bit more again as I think active improvement would also bring more customers.
