Game Overall, Great! I LOVE the graphics, kinda like low poly graphics. I cannot complain about the gameplay. There are a bit too few songs, but it's a early access game, so it's okay. I recommend trying and playing this game! And the performance is definitely better than that from Beat Saber!

Now it is overdue to write some words about BoomBox since I'm having a great amount of fun every time I play the game! Actually I had a very rough start which was caused by my partial color blindness (red-green) and the fact that I could not disinguish the standard colors and thus was not aware of the fact that there are two different colors that needed to be hit with the correct stick. But the game is highly customizable and after I figured out about my problem I started enjoying it very much. The beat maps are very well designed and I end up beeing in the flow almost immediately after starting a song. The songs are not what I normally listend to on my mp3-player, but they are good and maybe that even adds to the immersion and takes me out of my standard world and into the flow of the rhythm. Fühlt sich wie ein Mix aus beat saber und Ragnarock an. Wenn man lange genug am Stück spielt, könnte man sich einbilden, man haut auf fliegende Katzennäpfe. Kätzchen läuft jedenfalls auf jeder map mit, man ist nicht alleine. Süß gemacht (wenn man Katzen mag).
Musik ist eher elektronisch. Man trifft auch hier auf Camellia, und zu meiner Freude auch auf Kobaryo (der meiner Meinung nach viel bessere Musik macht).
Custom-maps werden unterstützt, kann man direkt im Spiel runter laden. Auswahl an "drumsticks" vorhanden, verschiedene Schwierigkeitsgrade, Geschwindigkeit kann eingestellt werden, Multiplayer, macht Spaß, läuft flüssig, maps sehr gut spielbar... Im Prinzip alles da, was man braucht.
