Ich würde den Kauf NICHT Empfehlen... zum einen gibt es meiner Meinung nach zu wenige CG's dann ist es NICHT möglich bereits gelesenen Text zu skippen - man kann nur den KOMPLETTEN TEXT skippen - und dann ist die Story auch sehr... langatmig und langweilig zudem dass es einfach auch zu wenig Romance für meinen Geschmack ist! Da gibt es einige bessere Novels wie zum Beispiel Nightshade oder Bustafellows - beide auf Steam erhältlich!

So I had this game in my wishlist for a while, since the art really catched my eye and I am a huge fan of visual novels. I have to say that I am very positively happy with this game. For the money you pay you get a beautiful game with amazing voice actors and art. The music complements the scenes and the effects are amazing! I really appreciate the small soundeffects and effects in the game. Now my review: Story: The story is good. I have read so many visual novels that i can say that this game falls into the better thought category. The MCs struggle and inner conflicts are understandable. She is not a damsel in distress and takes action when needed. For the MCs love interests I have to say that I enjoyed Yi Guangs route the most. His CGs were beautiful his story flowed very well and it felt very complete. GouJian is a complex character and his story really keeps you on edge. I would recommend playing his route either first or last. His route gives a lot more background info to his actions and conflicts. If you play his route first you will get a different view of him in all the other characters's routes. I would say a more soft approach as to why he acts the way he does. If you play his route last you will go into his route with a different feeling that will be explained more in his route. Wu Zixu...ah Wu Zixu at first i was very very interested in his character. Playing his route was a rollercoaster of emotions just like with GouJian. Sometimes I did not understand him at all and other times I felt like he does what he wants. ChenFeng I had very high hopes for his route since he is the bodyguard and childhood friend of the MC, sadly I have to say his story felt a little lacking compared to the others. His own struggles fall short when compared with GouJians route and I felt like the whole story would have needed a bit more chapters to fully develope. Don't get me wrong I still enjoyed his route but since I played his route last I felt it lacked a little compared to the others. I would 100% recommend getting the bad endings too, they are bitter sweet and give another view on the story too. My recommended order of playing would be GouJian -> Chen Feng -> Wu Zixu or YiGuang All in all I really enjoyed My Vow to My Liege. You get much more for the price compared to other visual novels. The CGs arent many but the ones you get are very nice.

For every LI there is a total diffrent storyline which is really well done. The writing is surprisingly good, the artwork is amazing and the characters really grow on me while playing the game. The MC is not a pushover, quite the opposite, and that's refreshing for the genre, too. Totally worth trying out, if you like your VN together with a bunch of lore and historical events.

It was quite enjoyable! The overall story was entaining and I liked the main character. The voice acting and the music were also quite ambient and helping the storyline. It was not as romantic, as I would have imagined it to be and way I was a bit underwhelmed visually, because of quantity not quality. But I think for the price it is fair enough. :) Well done.

Die Geschichte ist fesselnd und ich habe jedes Ende durchgespielt. Für diesen Preis ein Schnäppchen und jeden ein Muss, der der passende Sprache mächtig ist und sich Chinesischen Dramen verschrieben hat. Eine Verfilmung davon würde ich - in jeder möglichen Version - sofort ansehen. Ich kann es nicht erwarten einen weiteren solchen Titel zu lesen.

Nicht unbedingt mein Lieblingsspiel, aber dennoch ganz gut. Mir gefallen die einzelnen Charaktere und es wird eine interessante Geschichte erzählt. Leider ist der Romantik-Anteil nur gering. Was schade ist, wenn man bedenkt, dass My Vow to My Liege eigentlich ein Otome Game ist.
