The negative review is for the Chinese translation. Although the ending credits show that the Chinese translation was done by a person instead of AI translation—as can be seen from Cain being localized as Kane—the quality of the translation and fonts is still poor. There are also massive missing translations, such as in the encyclopedia and cut levels. The original game has the best story and combat experience in the series. The remaster adds new collectibles that unlock new skins, which is great. It also unlocks a free camera, which is a much better experience than the fixed camera. However, the Chinese localization is still incomplete. We hope the full Chinese translation will be added in future patches.
