强烈推荐的DLC：1811年,西班牙半岛的战火已经燃烧了两年多,随之带来的是复杂的命运以及双方惨重的伤亡.1809年7月塔拉维拉战役之后大英帝国的，葡萄牙和西班牙的联军随后从马德里地区撤退,子爵惠灵顿撤入葡萄牙重整军队.此刻拿破仑的西班牙远征军已经再一次的入侵葡萄牙。
但迄今已证明利用堑壕网成功截击法国人是不可能的.惠灵顿已经计划好了一个新的攻势把入侵者赶出葡萄牙乃至最终完全赶出半岛.虽然被法国和帮助他们的走狗逼回到了自己半岛的边缘,但西班牙还没有退出战斗.最高中央军政府和其继任者最高摄政政府授权当地民间组织进行游击战,俗称"小冲突",来抗击侵略者.
