如果让我现在开一个黑暗之魂2的新档，我的流程是：
开局打败龙骑兵-跳如蜜大坑到达废渊-跑酷废渊、黑溪谷-打败腐败物-使用路途中获得的毒飞刀等物品回头打败双巨人-回如蜜获得dlc1钥匙-进入dlc1，随后依次获得暗抗戒指+3、咬毒戒指+1、雷抗戒指+3、弗林戒指、咬血戒指+1、龙血大剑、龙血骑士套。
守护骑士的腿甲具有静音+减少摔伤的效果，我一般都会刷一个出来。
之后就可以以这样的配置碾压前期的主线地图，这就是高自由度的探索所带来的收益。
