主菜单 - 扩充包 - 伊莎贝拉统治的西班牙和帕查库提统治的印加帝国 勾上后。
单人游戏 - 剧本模式 - 征服新世界 进入。
剧本一共6个阵营，西班牙、英格兰、印加、法国、阿兹特克、易洛魁。
地图可选随机群岛或者南太平洋地图。
6个阵营发展并开拓海上商路，最先获得1000个胜利点的获胜。
盘前帆船到达中国并将财富送回首都的能获得更多胜利点。
玩家还要面对坏血病的折磨，前期大家都不允许宣战直到研究了海盗行为···
