Maybe he’s hiding behind the keyboard because he knows deep down he couldn’t build a proper game if his life depended on it. The game is a joke. The dev is a joke. And the sad reality is, the only thing that’s going to get fixed is his fragile ego, as he pretends to care while the game continues to crash into irrelevance. Maybe it’s time for him to stop pretending he’s a developer and just admit he’s better suited to typing out apologies than writing code. It’s embarrassing to watch…

It wants to be everything and ends up being absolutely nothing. If “existential dread but make it pixel art” was a genre, this would be its poster child.
