More classes and monsters. If you love Dredmor, no reason not to pick it up.

Adding more floors doesn't mean more fun. The last five floors are a real endurance test of your equipment vs. the permanent stat debuffing mobs. I had to skip 2 floors because my equip was getting worn down so bad. A buffed Dredmor waits at the bottom of Floor 15 but he is unreasonably hard. I think the devs expect you to cheese him with throwing weapons considering how the throwing vending machines from 11-15 are full of holy hand grenades. If you are considering getting this for the new skill trees, don't bother; they are very niche, often doing more harm to you than the enemy.
This expansion adds a ton of infuriating content and is by far the worst DLC. Its saving grace is that you can disable the Diggle God floors when making a new character. Pick up Wizardlands instead.

There's a lot of greatness in this good game.
A ton of customization and a ton of content.
Especially if you get the three available DLC's.
The base game deserves the positive reviews.
It's a bit hard at first, but quite easy to learn.
Winning for the first time feels simply great.
There's a lot of achievement stuff to unlock.
And if you want, you can milk a lot of hours.
The playtime value of this game is very high.
Overall: I just have to recommend the game.
And this good DLC is also really nice to have.
It actually gives you a lot of additional stuff.
The price of this cool DLC is simply very low.
And it will also increase the overall playtime.
That's exactly what I like to see in the DLC's.
I simply have to give it this a positive review.
General Experience
Diggle Gods has maybe the most new content of the DLC Dredmor has to offer. The five extra levels is 50% more game to dungeon dive, and being that the base game was quite long already it's going to easily add up your hours. The new skills that are available are fairly decent, with Veganism being one of the stronger ones on harder difficulties. The new items are mostly there to reward you for making it through the higher levels and are very powerful. If you manage to find some early, you can deck out your character for a couple levels to come. Overall a strong DLC for an already very fleshed out game.
Complaints
The scaling does tend to get a lot harder on levels 11-15, so being unprepared can end runs quicker than the base game. It's not that bad, but it is more of a heads up as Dredmor himself is also on the 15th floor and is pretty juiced up. Those playing Dredmor already enjoy the challenge, just be extra ready for anything.
Replayability
The extra five dungeons add a lot to your future games, all of which feature the same risk and reward featured in the base game. They can be added to all future runs, and the option to 'skip the grind' does make getting to floor 15 a bit easier. Overall more unlimited replayability for and already limitless game.
Achievements
The DLC adds several achievements to the game (which does mean you are required to buy the DLC for the full 100%), all of which are quite accessible. None of the achievements are broken, like a few were in the other DLCs.
Technical Issues
I didn't experience any new issues with the DLC being added.
Value
It's wild that the DLC is valued at $3, but even better is the full edition for $7 which will net you all three DLCs, all of which are worth it. The game often goes on sale for about 50%, which makes it shockingly cheap for the amount of hours you can get out of the game. The extra levels adds hours to your playthroughs and is a must have for anyone who enjoyed the base game.

Great add on with huge amounts of added content, including new skill trees, and more floors. If you ate Dredmor for breakfast then this add-on will be a must-have. Word of warning, Dredmor relocates to floor 15, as if he wasn't freakin' hard enough to locate in the base game.

This DLC makes the base game a lot more fun, adding hilarious new talent trees and enemy types, and even five more floors to the dungeon (if you can even make it that far...)
