Excellent fun, can get boring after a few hours. Some of the later puzzles can get a bit taxing but they can be beaten. Overall, a fun game with fun graphics and semi fun levels.

For a game based around demolition and causing as much chaos, explosions and thus destruction as possible, it is frustratingly linear and unforgiving. You need absolute precision in how you use your items, how you steer cars, the timing of what you use along with a vicious timer and scoring system and it ends up being far more punishing, trial and error and difficult than it should be. This is an amazing concept executed really badly. It has some love put into it and the workshop inclusion is a massive plus and very appreciated but the main game is unfortunately just completely missing the point in what this should be. Also definitely does feel like a mobile game too as some other said. I tried to give this so many chances and look on the upside but the awkward controls and menus make this even more aggravating to play too. Many mistakes and stuck situations happened because playing with a controller is so sloppy on this I can only really recommend this for the very masochistic er I mean "patient" and those who love trial and error and such.. [The scene opens at Fawlty Towers, where Basil Fawlty, Sybil Fawlty, Manuel, and Polly are gathered around a television, eagerly anticipating their turn to play "Demolition Inc." They've heard about the chaos and destruction the game promises and are excited to give it a try.] Basil: Right, let's see what all this fuss is about, shall we? "Demolition Inc." sounds positively smashing! Nigel Thornberry: Ooooh smashing indeed poppet! Blargh! 💥 Sybil: Basil, dear, do remember to be careful. We wouldn't want a repeat of the dumbwaiter incident. Basil: Nonsense, Sybil! That dumbwaiter had it coming. Speaking of which, Manuel, you might learn a thing or two from it about staying out of trouble. Manuel: ¡Ay, caramba! Senor Fawlty, you always have joke for Manuel! 🤣 Polly: Let's focus, shall we? We've got buildings to demolish! 💣 [They boot up the game and dive into the first level, ready to wreak havoc. However, they quickly realize that the game's controls are far from intuitive.] Manuel: ¡Ay, caramba! This game is more confusing than a menu without pictures! Polly: I can't seem to steer the cars properly. It's like they have a mind of their own! Basil: Blast it all! How are we supposed to cause chaos with these awkward controls? It's like trying to navigate a maze blindfolded! 🤦‍♂️ [Despite their best efforts, they find themselves struggling to progress through the game, constantly failing due to the unforgiving timer and scoring system.] Sybil: Basil, dear, perhaps we should try a different approach. Maybe if we... um... strategize? Basil: Oh, strategize, she says! It's not chess, Sybil, it's demolition! We're meant to be causing mayhem, not planning a military campaign! 🏗️ [As they continue to play, frustration mounts, with each failed attempt only fueling their determination to succeed.] Manuel: ¡Ay, ay, ay! This game is driving me crazy! Polly: I've tried everything, but we just can't seem to get past this level! Basil: Don't give up, everyone! We're Fawlty Towers, for goodness' sake! Failure is not an option! 💪 [Despite their struggles, they persevere, determined to conquer the game and unleash their inner demolition experts.] Sybil: Well, I must say, this game certainly isn't for the faint-hearted. Basil: No, indeed, Sybil. But mark my words, we shall emerge victorious! Just you wait and see! [With renewed determination, they dive back into the game, ready to tackle each challenge head-on, even if it means enduring more chaos and frustration along the way.] 🎮 Derek And The Dominoes - Laya What will you do when you get lonely And your game's just left you feeling fried? You've been demolishing buildings much too long You know, it's just your foolish pride Demolition Inc., got me in a bind Demolition Inc., my sanity declines Demolition Inc., darling, won't you fix this game of mine? I tried to give you some appreciation But your controls have got me down Like a fool, I paid good money for you You turned my whole gaming world around Demolition Inc., got me in a bind Demolition Inc., my patience is declined Demolition Inc., darling, won't you fix this game of mine? Let's make the best of this frustration Before I throw my controller in disdain Please don't say we'll never find a way And tell me all my hopes aren't in vain Demolition Inc., got me in a bind Demolition Inc., my temper's on the line Demolition Inc., darling, won't you fix this game of mine? This is actually kind of fun. You control an alien tasked with destroying cities, with limited resources. So you place an oil slick here, and explosive there, let a car skid out through this intersection causing that van to smash into that wall and rebound hitting the explosive which knocks over this building which destroys an entire city block. It's like a complicated setup of dominoes, only with more wanton destruction and physics. Probably more deaths too, but we won't focus on those.

Pass unless you've completely run out of indie puzzles I remember enjoying this game 10 years ago, but it didn't age too well. Very little content for the price, no replay value. 2-3h to 100% the base game, same for the DLC. Cloying soundtrack.

If you love to blow stuff up then this game is for you. Also being able to create your own levels and play them and others levels in the workshop adds a lot to this game . lots of fun and the closest we may ever get to destroy all humans on pc !

Funny premise but ultimately I can't recommend a casual game unless it goes above and beyond. Demolition Inc. is fun for a couple minutes but soon lost my attention and I couldn't be bothered to play it more than a couple stages at a time. This is probably more suited to being a mobile game.

Demolition, Inc. is a unique real-time strategy that's based on causing complete destruction by using your limited resources or, more accurately, your ol' bag of tricks. You see, you're an alien tasked with leveling cities and the most efficient way of accomplishing your mission is by sabotaging the everyday life of earthlings. That means laying down oil splats on pavements, placing destructive cows to set off chain reactions and various other tools of chaos. It's fun, challenging and beautiful to look at. Demolition, Inc. will provide you with some quick strategic fun!

This is probably the only good indie puzzle game ever made. A puzzler that doesn't get too obnoxious with "perfect solutions", it's nice and freeform and you get to blow things up in an indirect fashion. The music is cool too, kinda like Burn Zombie Burn. Contains a reworked version of Blur's Song #2 that's better than the original if for no other reason than it wasn't pimped to car commercials.

I bought Demolition Inc. on sale after seeing the trailer. It looked like a fun puzzle blow up so I gave it a shot. What I really liked about the game is the variety you use to destroy what you need to destroy. The goal of the game is to bring down all the buildings in the area and to raise green areas. How you do it though is up to you and the resources you got to do it. What's exceptional to me about video games is the ability to have ENTIRE control (so when I play RTS I want to be able a single unit from FPS stand point or RTS). Demolition INC sort of let's you do that as you can manually control a few cars. The physics engine while jumping a car off a ramp then slamming into 3 buildings while hitting a propane tank is quite fun. Would I recommend this game as something extremely worth playing? Depends on what you like. If it's on sale I would say buy it for sure. This game is surprisingly linear and constraining for a game about destruction. The limited amount of resources and a timer really don't give you much to work with aside from figuring out the optimal route and sticking to it every playtrough. This is essentially a prettier looking flash game (and not by much). 3/10
