A short, kinetic (no branching dialogue) visual novel taking place in Russia at Christmastime. The story centers on Andrew and Julia, two people who have heard of each other through their own relations but have never met until now. This story touches on Russian folklore as well as some sad family history readers may have had, but overall a rather lighthearted narrative. At the time of quickly typing this up I finally finished it just under two hours, but you may well get through it even faster. Only things I could say are a negative --and this is stretching it-- is that there are a few minor spelling errors in the English translation and the store page has not been updated for the VN's current UI which while nicer than the original has the text out of alignment with the center of the screen/window.

A very beautiful New Year's fairy tale, two hours of pure pleasure. I strongly recommend reading it.

A well-done VN. The Art is strong, the music is strong, the writing is strong, but... it's one of those visual novels where everything (or almost everything) takes place at a real-life pace, without jumping forward, and... while there are some supernatural/mystery elements, things are talked about in a very, very down-to-earth way. What I mean is... I feel like I'm literally at someone's house, making small-talk with someone in real time. When I do that in real life, however, I have a say on what topics we talk about, and what we do. So, I suppose, rather than feeling like I'm hanging out at someone's house in real time, it seems like I'm frozen in place at someone's house while people ignore me and hang out, in real time, around me? I don't see the appeal. I do respect this VN and the creators did a good job! But I don't "vibe" with this sort of stuff. If you read it, you might see what I mean.
