Parts of the game is really good, I like the artstyle, sound and music, it all fits together very well. Player control is extremely slippery and makes the game almost unplayable at the start of the game and after barely making it past the first boss the slippery controls finally kills the game completely with frantic enemies and bosses that instakills. Not enjoyable at all, just agonizing and annoying.
Followed the developer on twitch and was looking forward to this, hopefully it will get updates that makes it playable.

I've beta tested this game and now that it is released I immediately bought it.
TLDR; this game is a ton of fun and I recommend getting it!
Really great gameplay and story; I enjoyed it thoroughly.
Especially the more you unlock the smarter and crazier combos you can do (and quickly switching between combos) to see how you can defeat specific enemies.
Music fits very well to the computers and robotics style, and gameplay is very smooth.
Don't be afraid to die and try again, there are plenty of check-points and sometimes you first have to die a few times to figure out a strategy to take on the challenge or boss at that point.
There are plenty of bosses to fight, interesting weapon and gadget mechanics to unlock as well as combinations and tricks to figure out. And once you beat the main story (it took me roughly 10 hours, of which the first halve I played it laidback) there are Time Trials which challenge you to go through all the levels you like with all the main game’s gadgets and weapons unlocked, allowing you for example to go all ham on those silly low level critter bots!
One point of feedback I'd like to give is, in the levels/zones whenever a 'Fix & Chips' shop shows up, I almost always buy health, and sometimes grenades, but the other upgrades not so much. Might be my play style though, not being careful enough and thus requiring health.
There are also some small puzzle element in there sometimes, which I think could be expanded upon some more to really challenge to player to stop and think.
Never the less, I can honestly recommend this game! Literally hours of fun!

Robozarro is not only a labor of love but is a ton of fun to play. It's a mix of edge of your seat action and clever puzzle mechanics. The lovely art and animations remind me in many ways to the old school adventure games of Lucas Arts and Sierra era. I would say Robozarro plays like mega man on acid. The boss battles are all super unique and you'll need to think on your toes to defeat them. This isn't an easy game, however every death is rewarded once you figure out one of many unique solutions to winning a battle. I highly recommend this game and look forward to seeing more from the Developer!!!
