It's rare to see a magic-centered game that focuses on you being a wizard rather a guy with a sword or a sword and a handful of spells. This game is simple and short but fun if you're just looking to scratch an itch. There's a decent numbers of spells to choose from each with its own effects and drawbacks and different enemies being immune to different effects really forces you away from falling into the "my one favorite spell will carry me through the game" trap. You feel powerful and versatile, and while the gameplay is simple it mixes things up enough and has enough diversity in its enemy types and biomes to not get stale.
7/10
it fills a niche and scratches an itch even though its short and the movement is weird sometimes.
