I would heartily recommend Monster Jaunt for anyone looking for a new party game.
The mini games give you a variety of challenges that mostly focus on skill and not pure chance. The board game is engaging and yet lightweight enough to be understood at a glance. Nearly the entire game allows for simultaneous play, so you don't lose engagement while someone else it taking their turn. The Remote Play Together integration works wonderfully, as expected. Being able to play a local game across the country with little detriment is a huge bonus feature for a game like this.

Fun minigame collection, board game is a better replacement than the mario party kind, no randomness, different types of minigames, definitely worth it

I love this game! The world needs more party games and local multiplayer games. Monster Jaunt is a great modern entrant to this genre. It has innovative gameplay ideas and mechanics, Mario Party-calibur minigames, fantastic music and a fun and charming art style.
I recommend playing with controller(s) as some of the minigames are more difficult with keyboard controls.

Minigames are great, board game is okay, but unfortunately it feels repetitive after the second playthrough. Coming from a binge of Mario Party and Pummel Party, I feel this just doesn't hold up as a whole. Still recommend it for the price (you can cast your game so essentially only one person in a group of four has to buy it - an absolute steal when you take this into consideration).

Good bits:
VARIETY OF MINIGAMES - memory, quick-hands, battle, racing. If you're a Mario Party fan like me you'll remember that Platform Peril was pretty much the same as Skateboard Scamper. Same for Coin Block Bash/Coin Block Blitz, Tug of War/Paddle Battle, etc. Not so here! Each game is a different concept, no reskins.
QUALITY OF MINIGAMES - some of these could be released on their own. Seriously. Physics are solid, haven't found any weird glitches.
GRAPHICS - got that n64 feel as some other reviewers have noted. Eponymous monsters are very cute and charismatic. I want to be their friends.
Not so good bits:
CONTROLS - with the focus on variety comes a cost: some of these games may frustrate you the first time or the second time through, because the controls are different for all of them.
MAP - pretty dull overall. It's not random but there aren't many choices to make, and you'll arrive at the optimal strategy pretty quickly and do it as fast as possible to get back to the minigames. I wish there were more monsters, so that there were no duplicates in a single game. Then it would feel more special to get one.
Overall:
Great game to play every once and a while with friends.

Fun couch game with addicting mini games. The monsters are very cute and the concept is both fun and strategic. We mainly keep playing for the mini games, though! Some unique ideas that are executed well. Definitely easy to play with friends or by yourself against the AI (which are surprisingly challenging).

Love this game! Overall, the concept of the game is interesting and unique. The monsters are pun-tastic and the art design is really fun. The variety of mini games is awesome, and each one is well-designed--they cater to different skill sets, which makes the game great for playing with friends.
Controls were initially a bit tricky to figure out for me, but are relatively straightforward after you play for a bit.

This game has that classic Nintendo couch party vibe. I've played it with a few different groups of people, and it seems to work well with both frequent and casual gamers. The minigames have a good amount of variety to them, and there's enough minigames to give it a plenty of replayability. One particularly nice touch is the adorable art of the hybrid creatures in the game. I've fallen in love with the panda/andaconda hybrid"pandaconda" and the fiery otter "magmotter".
Favorite minigame:
* Topagrathree
Least favorite minigame:
* Peng-winners and losers - racing games have never been my format of choice, so this minigame is not up my alley

I am a monster by blood, and this game does me and my kin total justice!
JK - but holy crap these mini-games are awesome!!!
WHAT I LOVED
+ The MINI-GAMES. Some of these put Mario Party to shame. My favorite is one that has you find things on a map! (I'm a geography nerd)
+ MUSIC and CHARACTER design. This game is simply adorable, and creative names will have you chuckling.
+ REPLAYABILITY. This game is suited for all ages. I'm 29 and I want to master these mini-games so bad!
DOWNSIDES
- The board game part seems a bit tacked on. However, I've always just been about the mini-games, and those make it all worth it.

Pros:
-Easy to learn, hard to master
-Fun and varied minigames that don't kill your palm (looking at you, every fishing minigame ever) and have smooth controls and several unique elements
-Novel and interesting concept (think Pokemon travel agent) and very diverse cast of characters!
-Quirky and fun voice acting and music
Favorite minigame: Snoozy Smoothies
Cons:
-While the graphics are not as "polished" as some of its contemporaries, they have a nostalgic charm hearkening back to the N64 and the animations are very fluid
-Not a massive amount of minigames, but more than enough to not have any repeats even in long game modes
Least favorite minigame: Below the belt
