This game is really well done. It's got a really polished feel to it, and a very Fortnitesque Art-style to it, that's very visually appealing. Gameplay is pretty good. You only start with 1 weapon, and have to unlock more as you play. Which is fine, and I actually enjoy that in most games. However, one issue right now, is that EXP is greatly tied to PvP (as it should be), but there aren't very many players online. During my playtime, truthfully only a little over an hour, I was only able to get into 2 PvP matches. The rest of the time I had to farm bots. Winning a bot match varies from 10-50 EXP, based on difficulty (and the higher difficulties, are near impossible to win at low level, due to weapon selection, and enemies AIMBOT). So, I'd say most players will average 20-30 EXP per win. It takes a few hundred EXP per level at low level, increasing as you go, so it can feel quite grindy, if you don't have people to play against. Also, if you DO actually get a match, and lose, you won't get much if any EXP iirc. Realistically, this issue is overcome by simply having more players. So, here's hoping more people pick up this game. My second issue is actually a lot harder to overcome, and that's the gamemode itself. 1v1 PvP in small maps. I really hope that the developer hasn't pidgeon holed themselves into this style too much, because I feel like it's a waste of opportunity. This game could be a real blast with a larger lobby. I was actually really surprised when I loaded it up, and was matched 1v1, and saw how small the maps actually were. It feels like a miss. Right now, the game is new, the playerbase is tiny; But as that changes, i also hope the developer adds more gamemodes with more players, because this would be a big missed opportunity IMO. Also, add in team-modes! that would be cool too. If you want a game to be successful, then foster a community. That's infinitely harder when the game is 100% 1v1 PvP. It basically makes everyone your enemy, and the salt will flow. I do think 1v1 PvP matches are fun, but I just don't think they're enough to carry a game like this. People won't get hooked as much, if that's all you can do. People enjoy larger deathmatch lobbies, and team-based shooters, so I really hope we see more of that from this title. TLDR: Polished Game, needs more players and new gamemodes to build a community. Recommended.

Simple game with short 1v1 PVP matches with cartoon characters. Unfortunately, free movement is the ONLY option, so I’m only able to play a few minutes before motion sickness sets in. Uninstalled. But if you are not sensitive to motion sickness, this could probably be fun with friends for a few minutes now and then.

Great game! out of the many VR multiplayer games ive played, this one is actually very fun. The animation style is clean, colored and fun to look at. Movement speed and turning is great. people need to get on this game! ill get on and only 4 people will be playing, ill beat 3 of them multiple times and they all leave. GET ON THIS GAME! I do reccomend the devs to add a bigger multiplayer aspect. 3v3, 5v5, maybe some game modes of sorts. But all in all, for less than 10 bucks, this game is a steal on VR.

This is a lot of fun. It's 1 on 1, and I like that because I'm tired of team-based shooters. The levels are colorful, and the powerups are wacky. You can fight bots or humans in 3 minute matches. You can play bots until a human shows up to play, and it will automatically take you from the bot match, putting you against the human immediately. The more you play, the more playable characters and guns you unlock, so there's progression in this. There are also global leaderboards. There are 7 maps, and the devs keep adding more. There's no voice chat. I'd like that added.

I played a couple of games against bots and it was fun. I would like to see matches with teams of bots. Moving around in the game wasn't as smooth as I would have liked. Sometimes I would just stop even though I pressed down the touchpad. Also when I took cover behind a barrel I still got shot by the bot. Maybe the hitboxes needs tweaking.

Nice polished game, good ammount of playeable characters, looks like a nice ammount of weapons, the powerups are easy to use... Got the game on Sale and its pretty worth the price. Its just that there is no people to play with :/ i tried because of the contest they are currently running... and ive played +20 bot matches but i couldnt find 1 real person even when there where "3" connected. and my Bot games apparently dont count towards the leadeboard rankings... Anyways the game is great but needs more active players! maybe a Campaign or Arcade mode where you get notified if another player wants to battle??? idk.

*** Update: March 4, 2019 *** So this game is on sale for .99 cents now (and free on Oculus for a limited time). This is a steal at that price. This game is a lot of fun. Watch my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/CBMsluHAm5c *** Original Review Below ***
Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
Super fun, faux hero action shooter MP game 1v1 style and against a bot. There's different heroes to unlock and different guns as well. Unlocking can feel like a grind, but it does give you a reason to keep pushing those 1 v 1s. The bad part is that currently 1 v 1 is the only matchmaking. And I had an unfortunate situation where I kept getting the same player who I was curb-stomping and eventually he/she would just quit as soon as the match started. The good news is that a forfeit counts as a win and you still get good xp. However, it does take some of the fun out when you don't have a good matchup. Obviously, this game is still very new so that's bound to happen. When I was on, Tuesday evening/night, there was about 10 players online total. So game does need more players (which is not new in VR), but I was always able to get a match. Some queues were quick, others took about 2 minutes. I believe there are currently only 3 maps, but they are all well-designed. Short maps, with lots of powerups and health pickups scattered around, plus teleport nodes to escape. There is full locomotion with snap turning and comfort options as well as sound/video. Matches take 3 minutes I believe, if I'm remembering correct. Anyways, they are very quick and feels like the right amount of time for a 1 v 1. Although there are both hero and gun unlocks, I have to be honest and say they are mostly just cosmetic. Mostly, because some heroes are slower and have more health, others are faster and have less health. Guns are the same. Some shoot fast but don't hit hard, others are slow but hit harder. I would have liked more variety there. It would have been awesome if each hero had one special ability to differentiate them even more. I'm not expecting Overwatch, but at least one ability that is different. I would also have been awesome if the guns were like handguns, shotguns, sniper rifle, etc. The powerups are awesome. They all feel good and are fun to use. None of them feel overpowered, not even the chicken rocket which is a one hit guided missile kill because you can get behind a barrier or shoot it from the sky. But obviously, the chicken rocket is the most fun so it's OP there. I liked the cartoon graphics. I like the maps. Game ran smoothly for the most part. However, in a few matches I felt the lag and the frame rates start dropping. I restarted the game and it fixed that issue. That was the only bug I noticed. Rate 8/10. Great value for the price. Just needs a bigger community.

Ive played a ton of VR games over the past two years and this one is by far my favorite multiplayer VR game to date! The game design is amazing, the graphics are fun and easy on the eyes, and there's enough unlockable items to warrent excessive hours in the game. The design is super simple: - each game has a 3 min timer - the maps have powerups/health packs spread around them (not too many and not too little) - grab a power up (which is randomly generated upon pickup) and then figure out whats the best way to use it. - youre armed with the gun that you choose before the match as well as the hero that you chose (each of which have really well balanced stats and a lot of variation - so you can build to suit your play style - so long as you unlock the hero/weapon that fits it) Before you start a game be sure to check how many people are currently playing your region - the game has a pretty active community but sometimes when you get on there might only be a few people on. Thats where the bots come in - the game has really good bots - I usually pick play with bots and the "allow others to join" option before launching the match. That way i get to practice and kill time inbetween matches with actual people. That said - the hero level bots are really hard at first (which I really like). But the "hard" level bots play pretty similar to another person might play. Overall, I highly reccomend this game! It's less than $10 and it is an all around good time! 10/10

You can a read majority of the positive reviews and find that all like the same thing. Polished, beautiful, etc. I've left out the "cheap" comment to speak of it later. I do agree with the mass about the positives. But the negatives outweigh the "polish" and the promotional side of it is a little misleading for the consumer. So here's why I put a dislike on this game:
Misleading Promotions

They made it seem like your standard PVP FPS with no definitive number. Except for saying "Battle Solo or with bots and friends". In truth, the game is ONLY 1vs1. In a 3 min match with one other and most kills win. The description should've said "battle with an AI bort or fight with your friends one at a time."
As I watched the trailer, I was getting the sense that the heroes were they're own individual character with unique abilities only to them. In the genre of Overwatch and Team Fortress 2. Truth is heroes are only different by there base stats. So one character is faster, one is tougher, and other is something. The "special"abilities you see in trailer is powerups found through out the arena. Used by anyone who picks it up.
Weapons aren't tailored to one character either. The player has a weapon inventory with locked and unlocked items that is shared with all characters.
Cross-Platform. Trailer announces the feature but doesn't include which platforms they are. You must read in the details to find out that its only between vive and mobile VR. Which may not be too misleading, but not everyone reads the details and goes more off the trailer presented to them.

Gameplay

I only played 3 games. (2 vs bot and 1 vs Human) Using the HTC Vive. The game plays like a typical VR shooter that is driven to be more family-friendly. The type that makes you feel like your're holding a snowball gun and shooting nerf darts that most people can see coming and avoid. Even stay out of its range.
The option I chose for mobility was up on the track pad means forward. The game takes that literally because as soon as you turn your head, motion is now canceled . So if you are running, don't try to turn your head to make sure you're in danger, or the game with stop you in your tracks so you are in more danger.

Price
I understand that at them moment, the sale is $1. For that much, it's a good buy. In actuality, a lot of people in the future will be considering to buy this at $10 because of the amount of positive reviews praising how they got it for a cheap price. I think the game isn't worth paying that much for.
