this is a good product but you can probably get a similar one without paying as much or any money.

Very good recorder using it for my videos easy to setup and cheap using with filmora pro its amazing!

Once I finally figured out that it wouldn't work if you have the screen resolution too high - worked like a charm

Action is the best screen recorder out there in my opinion. I have several including CyberLink Screen Recorder 3 and 4, ShareX, the Nvidia recorder, Windows built in screen recorder and OBS Studio which is free and the second bestyet, top notch for a free app. Now, I will say that I use the none steam as well on another computer which is fed in by HDMI through my little Elgato then to the secondary computer that I record in as high as 4k. I've never had any crash issues and I love it even a bit more then the adored OBS studio which is free as mentioned.

Second time Ive bought this product and unfortunatly it crashes as soon as I start recording. I cant find any answers to this in the cyberlink forums or online. Would really like to use this product.

It’s brilliant for uploading to youtube/recording your games and streaming to twitch. The issue I have the most is it will let me stream to YouTube fine then next time I go to do it it won’t work. I don’t know if it’s a YouTube issue but I doubt it and reckon there’s a bug of some sort. Needs fixed Imo as it’s why I purchased it in the first place. Gets a 3 out of 5 for me

From not recommended to Recommend Yes After Software response I decided to give it another try. So far so good I have no more problems. Thanks! Sometimes it records in a certain file format that is unplayable by any player. For recording unique experiences and footage I don't recommend because you might lose some of it.

I used this and it was really good until there was an update saying it cant be used on your platform when everything on my pc is up to date the hardware matched

The audio used to work great but then they released an update and now I have to re-record my videos because it won't record the audio anymore. My microphone is fine but its the game audio that it refuses to pick up

I absolutely can not recommend this software. I used XSplit for years. After seeing this I thought hey why not - Cyberlink products are not bad. So I bought this. First the software didn´t get updated to the latest version. I had do download the patch to version 4.0.0.6288 by myself. This patch was released in December and today (Jan. 13th 2019) The Steam version is still not the latest one. Shame on you Cyberlink. When selling on Steam please take care of your customers! The performance is abysmal. I tested several games like DOOM, Wolfenstein 2 etc. but I had frame drops when streaming on twitch. I tested every option (well there is not much you can select) But it didn´t get better. XSplit offers much more options to fine tune your streaming and while using XSplit I never encountered any frame drops at all. I could steam all games 1080p 60fps without any framedrops. With Cyberlink Screen Recorder 4 I had frame drops when streaming 720p. Check your software and offer more options. Where can I change NVenc / h.264? The program is easy to use but offers not enough for that price.
