I believe I got this game when it came out and I have found it to be an a good time waster. Dungeon Log Floor 1: I entered the dungeon and found a stair case one step to the right of me and immediately went to floor two. For some reason I thought I could go back to town even though the stair case is clearly going down. To this day I wander if I missed anything good. Dungeon Log Floor 2: Encountered a cat and wasted its effect immediately and then I fought monsters for the first time. Dungeon Log Floor 3: I experienced a treasure rush for the first time and now my sage is stronger than my warrior physically and probably will be for a while. This good luck means I will probably die sometime in the next 7 floors. Dungeon Log Floor 4:
I miss that ghost at the hub….even though it was to spooky for me…
Dungeon Log Floor 9: I am about to figure out if I die soon due to events on floor 3.

Mindless, boring game with no challenge. Roguelites/Roguelikes are supposed to be about challenge and strategy and battles having the possibility of killing you if you are careless. This is instead utterly mindless with no threat of death and actually gets EASIER as the game goes along, to the point that on your first run you'll be able to beat bosses in 2 or 3 turns with no effort (with one boss I killed in one turn on my first try the very first time I played this game!) and destroy every random battle in 1 or 2 turns with minimal resources spent. The game is also filled with default rpg maker assets,w hich would be tolerable if the game was not so completely and utterly mindless. Even a children's roguelike like POkemon Mystery Dungeon is DRASTICALLY more difficult than this game (yes even Gates, the easiest one in the serie sand quite clearly meant for children to be able to beat it. Quite possibly the worse Roguelite/like I have ever played, and even for the price I can't recommend it, most free Roguelikes are better than this game. If you want a cheap roguelike google Tower of the Archmage or Doom Rl or pretty much anything better than this. I ony have this much playtime because I figured I should finish it before I played but I got to floor 70 and I was just so bloody bored I didn't want to go any further. At no point since floor 15 or so was I anywhere near death or ever felt challenge or had to thing during a boss battle. The mechanic where you get mp back from defending and more and more of it as you level is laughably poorly thought out as is the rest of this game

When i played it a few hours i remembered on the old days with the snes game Lufia II rise of the sinistrals. there is a cave called ancient cave where you set to level 1, erased your equipment/spells and send you in a randomised dungeon without saving points. this dungeon was more time spending than the complete main story line. RogueLite captured this random feeling in a positive way. every time you go down can be an easy run or challenging regardless of the difficulty you set. if youre lucky there are 6 keys to find for some equipment you can preset before you enter, similiar to the blue chests in lufia but not so overpowered. its not like every new enter is less difficult. always a fresh new workaround with the stuff you find. with 12 unique hero classes plus your own customised heroine you can challenge yourself how far you can get for example without white magic heroes at all. think with only three archievements for the complete walkthrough with all difficulty sets is a bit low number. for a buying price that low definitive a good time killer in my opinion.

I love this game. It takes a little getting used to, but once I knew what I can and can't do, it's really fun to play. What I like most about it is that each floor is not so large that you get lost and wander around forever. Small is definitely better.
