It's difficult for me to review this game entirely positively when it's got one such obvious, glaring flaw.
Why the crapping hell does this game not have a map.
I just don't get it at all. You make this sprawling game with lots of areas to discover and you make it so that the only way anybody will find everything or even close to it is by wandering around aimlessly or throwing themselves off stuff for hours. JUST GIVE US A MAP. The scanning system only works for specific tasks and missions. Ridiculous.
Otherwise I enjoyed it a lot and its sense of humour was mostly funny, if inevitably repetitive. A good range of missions and creatures and it keeps its brief of mostly being an exploration game throughout. End boss is brutal though.
Just missing that one thing that could have made it great. Well done, Typhoon.

Its a short game if you're just playing the main missions, but I had fun w/ it. Some pretty funny moments, similar to borderlands, but T rated and not M rated lol

So so fun!! I've played through this game so many times and love the graphics as long as the game play and whimsy of the AI companion and the flora and fauna. I'm running out of friends to play with!!

I played this a couple times before finishing it, and i kept coming back because the world is vibrant and unique. Not much gun play. but when there is a fight, it keep you on your toes. It's also a good title for collectible hunters. The game also looks really good, the art style is one of my favourites.
The biggest problem i ran into was some of the platforming segments, but that's probably more due to the fact i SUCK at platforming.
Long short short, both the main game and DLC are fun and not too time consuming. Would play again in coop mode.

A decently polished coop game with a lot of love and care put into it. I don't think it really fits for me however, mostly due to the subjective humor. The game tries so very hard to be funny and bombards you with jokes and witty dialogue that in the case that the jokes don't really land, its incredibly annoying. It almost reminds me of the annoying orange era of humour, though not quite that bad.

Simple game, very easy, maybe good for kids. Do not worth 10 usd, or 10 brl, or 10 eur

This game is an unpleasant combination of frustrating and lacking in direction.
I actually think the humor is fine, and the world looks great.
It seems like it should be fun but there are so many random things that aren't explained and you really have no idea how to deal with, but that constantly kill you when you try to achieve a mission objective. Things that are immune to your gun and there's no indication of what to do. The dodging and movement is pretty slow, so you don't have a lot of evade options. You also only get 4 life, so you die in one or two hits usually. All that means you die a lot, and you drop a chest of all your stuff each time, and it just gets really annoying.
If the game at least let you shoot the things that hurt you, that might be better but many of the enemies you aren't even able to damage with your gun, and so you end up just kind of lost.
In a sense, I think that was part of the design was the idea that you die a lot. I just think that's a bad design, if I'm honest... it's not fun, it's just annoying. Which pretty much summarizes my experience with this game.
The game has good overall review score, but the achievements tell the true story... hardly anybody gets very far in this game. Certainly the vast majority of players quit playing very early. Barely more than half the people who own it have even collected their own death box once. I mean... that pretty much tells the whole story.
I would recommend avoiding this one, to be honest.

So, I have played this game in single player and in co-op mode. This game is very interesting in single player mode with it's cringe videos on the ship to the weird logs you come across in game. This game beginning is slow at first due to scanning the planets inhabitants and not having tools/powers to navigate the planet. Once you conplete some of the main missions the game progress flow picks up. The co-op mode in my opinion makes the game fun as a whole because you have two people trying to gather resources and acquire upgrades. I had a lot more fun playing this game in co-op mode than in single player mode. The game progress seems to go a lot faster with a gamer buddie/friend along for the ride. There has only been two complaints I had with co-op mode. One, each player can't be on different parts of the world/map for example: one player can't be in the itching fields and the other player at the beginning area of the game. Each player has to be in the same area of portals. If not, one player will be teleported with the other player. Two, during game play. When jumping i would get suck in walls and floors during sessions. Each of us, me ( session host) and co-op buddy have great internet connection but still have issues with clipping and getting stuck in floor/walls. These two things are not deal breakers because when they happen they are kind of funny to see for each player perspective. Overall game is fun. So far my co-op buddy and I beat the main game story and working on the DLC. Will edit this review when the DLC has been completed for the review on the DLC portion of the game. (Edit) Just finished the DLC and it is super short sadly. It was fun but short. Again fun to play in co-op. Instead of the goo eggs you collect in the main story is replaced by post cards. There is no value in collecting them like the goo eggs but its a fun collectable to collect in game. My honest review, i give this game an 8 out of ten due to the area restrictions and the clipping but other than that the game was fun and very funny.

It's a great game to burn a few hours with a friend and I had a lot of fun doing exactly that. Gameplay loop isn't revolutionary but it's easy to grasp and it's fun: You explore the planet, fight aliens, solve simple puzzles, and collect resources to craft new tools or abilities that allow you to proceed further. Combat is simple but it gets the job done, you have a pistol with a charge shot and some throwables and enemies aren't really complex or difficult. It's a fairly easy and casual game but it works well, grab a friend and hop into voice chat and you'll have a good time.
