ORIGINAL REVIEW (4/16/2019):
Chapter 1 was very good, but Chapter 2 kind of took Timore into the direction that a lot of people dislike: a horror game that is also being one of the most difficult games I have ever played. Don't get me wrong. I love this game and I recommend it to everybody. But the part in Chapter 2 where you have to go through all the red doors is kind of ridiculous. You have way too little health, it is impossible to regenerate health, and the monsters have specific hit boxes for you to kill them, making them have an exceeding advantage over you. I have been dying and dying and dying, making no progress, and eventually I gave up. I hope that you see this and tweak some of the combat and health in the game, and maybe I will retry Chapter 2. But everything else is awesome. The jumpscares, the atmosphere, and great story that makes the Timore series evolve and exceed people's expectations. Undoubtfully one of my favorite horror games out there.
EDIT (11/2/2019):
It seems like Vidas actually listened to my review and some other reviews about a similar problem, and he actually nerfed out the checkpoint system where you can actually go back to where you were. Also, I derped when I was dying all the time because apparently all you had to do was sneak around and only kill the demons if you absolutely had to. I hope this will fix some confusion about what to do in the section.
EDIT (10/13/2020):
I recently played Chapter 3, the final chapter, and I will have to say this game did not disappoint me at all. This might actually be the best Timore game so far. The ending was very unexpected, but it did make some sense on why that happened. My biggest concern is what happened to the world around them and what happened to Vince, but that might be covered in a future entry. I am so glad this game turned out the way it did, and I am also glad he fixed some of the bugs in the combat mechanics.

By far this is one of the best Timore games. There are a few confusing and frustrating bits that take a while to get through, but all in all a great game!

Bro... I was gonna recommend this game...
Until I got to the "Emily is getting weaker every moment, you'll have to do it yourself now" part.
This part is pure cancer. Sh*ttiest sequence I've ever witnessed in my entire life. It's literally unplayable due to glitchy af gameplay.
I was gonna talk about this game like how Vidas finally pulled off not relying too much on jumpscares. But Vidas, come on man, what is this game??. I just ALT + F4'd and writing this review. Jeez...

Probably the most expensive but best title that Vidas Salavejus developed to this day.
I did not really understand the story but the gameplay was weird, creepy and somewhat scary.
It is your typical walking simulator horror game which i enjoy if you don't then pass.

Update 03/28/2019: Chapter 2 is out now and it's one of the worst things I have ever played in my life. Never before have I changed a positive review to a negative review until now. I literally can't believe that Chapter 2 is a part of the same game. It's so insanely stupid and frustrating that I just can't even wrap my head around how this 2nd chapter came to be a part of this game. I highly recommend that IF you play this game at all, you stay FAR, FAR away from Chapter 2. I could not have possibly hated it more. I didn't even finish it and I have no plans to finish it. It has ruined Timore for me completely. If you want to be extremely frustrated though, by all means, please play Chapter 2.
I had never played a Timore game until now and I've gotta say, I'm sorry I had not played the series before now. This game's pretty well done and definitely had some decent scares in it. I believe it's not complete at this point (they plan on adding more later) but what's here is a good horror game in my opinion. The graphics aren't the best but if you can look past that, I think you'll find a lot here to enjoy. Check out my series if you're on the fence!

Timore 6 was a really good game in the franchise, Chapter 1 was good having an introduction into what the game is about and telling us a story, i've said this before but I really do enjoy the graphics that the Timore games have and I think they make the games unique. The models of the characters I also really enjoy, for example having the Timore mannequin change every game.
Chapter 2 on the other hand I didn't really enjoy as much as chapter 1, I get that there was trying to be a different type of gameplay (combat being added) yet it was pretty hard and confusing.
And Chapter 3 I think was very good and was a great way to end the game, the gameplay wasn't as hard and confusing as chapter 2 and had some cool mechanics with the boss fight at the end.
Overall, I really enjoyed Timore 6 and I think it's worth what you're paying for considering all the chapters are a free dlc included in the main game.

Prepare yourselves for a wild contradiction--
The story for this game was sort of a mish-mash of the first and second Silent Hill. Voice acting and music was similar as well. That being said, it was still nothing like Silent Hill. It stands on its own.
I haven't played 1-5, so I can't speak to how this would compare to them. But I enjoyed this game. A couple of the puzzles were just a hair convoluted, but not impossible to figure out on my own. Spoops were solid and varied from screamers to spine-tingling atmosphere.
The graphics/artwork isn't the prettiest that I've ever seen, and I would have liked to be able to adjust my video options while playing. But it still delivered in the horror department.
Is this worth $10? Eh, it feels short and there are neither achievements nor cards to earn. There is a lot of padding mid game where you can get lost in a forest... and it's a couple years old.
I'd say pick it up on a 50% sale for a slightly introspective puzzly horror experience.
